But it is good to know that new abilities of the new commanders that they sound reasonable. We are still gonna see simcity builders try to abuse this but it won't work, doesn't sound like it will pay off. Brad said that the AEC got its old gun back (Basically Jackson or StuG level for AI). He said the Co-ax was roughly as good as a LMG. Basically you can't play it like a T70 anymore but the Co-Ax is good enough that Infantry just can't just ignore it like they used to. Should be in a good place for its intended role of light vehicle hunter that can threaten mediums. In: UKF Strategies

Buildings... no, I can see this being borderline abused on some maps where key buildings can make like life hell. Thread: Relic: Brits srsly needs nerf16 Feb 2016, 16:49 PM Thing with Brits is that they seem to just go from one crutch unit to the next. First Centaur/Churchill/Croc at launch now its AEC. Problem is Relic always overnerfs the crutch and then Brits get crushed until the next crutch comes along. Though I think part of it is that Brits are a pretty unforgiving faction if not played correctly. Best to wait until Thursday's patch notes (and maybe preview?) A lot of the problems are the snowball effect of the shock value of AEC - best not to get ahead of ourselves and ask relic for another full retard "Super nerf Tommies!" patch just because of that. Probably something silly like they accidentally doubled the duration when they doubled the number of planes. (Either that or its just a matter of the UI not being timed correctly). To be fair that probably says more about Ostheer teching than it does about Panzerwerfer's performance. It's mostly okay though I think removing the suppression wouldn't be bad - it was a good idea when it was underperforming but now it feels a bit excessive. (And if we're being honest, probably a byproduct of Relic's infatuation with the artillery suppression experiment ala ISG and Pack Howie. That and I think the far and maybe midrange damage can be scaled back just a tad (same with Calliope). In: COH2 Balance

Nobody wants HMG building cheese where you can just plop them in and forget about them because they can ALWAYs shoot back. Just need to cover the windowless side with other units and you're good. That and scaling back its shell aoe a bit so that its a little less model snipey and less of a crutch shock unit. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: How do you decide between going T1 or T2 13 Feb 2016, 15:30 PM You can theoretically still go Lt. vs. OKW if you use Airborne AT Gun drop to supplement your midgame. Most would say that its a middle of the road commander but Paratroopers are still among the best elite infantry units in the game and Pathfinders can become nasty in their own right if you get them Vet 2-3 and plop some BARs on them and then they become snipe machines. Personally my 1v1/2v2 loadout is Tactical Support, Pershing, Rifle Co. I find those 3 cover most game scenarios. I still like Rifle Company for Urban maps (flamers) and to push an early advantage with a fast Easy 8, which will shut down any Axis medium armor play. WP Barrage is also the ultimate anti-shrek blob tool. In: US Forces Strategies
