But if your operating under the idea that Soviets don't have the most squad wipe capable stuff then well I don't really know what to say. The amount of squad wipe or almost squad wipe options available to Soviets puts any Axis counterpart to shame, except for maybe the Sturmtiger. Let me put it this way; Soviets have tools that wipe more often than not, Axis has tools that do more reliable damage rather than just out right 1 shotting squads. Y'know, given the choice between having a more reliable chance of wiping squads with regular small arms fire through consistent DPS or being able to occasionally wipe bunched up squads every now and then through RNG, I would definitely pick the former. Personally I think that Axis has the advantage in this regards. Sure as SU I can wipe a squad if I get lucky with a barrage and score a good hit in the first volley, before my enemy moves, but as OH I can wipe a squad more reliably just by getting a pgren or a couple LMG42s within effective range, with far less need for helpful RNG. Would you rather be able to get lucky wipes now and then, or be able to reliably wipe through your own tactics? In: COH2 Balance

You may have gotten it from a custom match where an enemy/ ally had it equipped. But I literally never do custom matches. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: New Victory Strikes?23 Jul 2015, 18:25 PM So a couple days ago I was looking through my loadout and was surprised to find a collection of new Common victory strikes in my inventory, which I'd never seen or heard of before. Each faction got three, and lots of them sounded really cool. I don't remember them all, but I do remember that every faction got Strategic Bombing, and SU got a Partisan Strike and USF got a Calliope Barrage and Saturation Fire. Curious, I equipped the Partisan Strike, but wasn't able to play any further. The next day when I came online, I won a match but there was no victory strike. I looked in my loadout and found that the Partisan Strike as well as all the other new victory strikes were missing. This morning they were back, so I equipped the Partisan Strike again and have since won several matches. However, I still don't see any victory strike, and although the Partisan Strike is equipped in my loadout it isn't shown in my inventory. Anyone know what's going on here? In: COH2 Gameplay

Add two more and get twenty man Volks squad. And of course you can upgrade with shrecks four times. All factions should get this ability, on all units. Merge two Shermans, get two tank Sherman squad. If one Sherman dies but other survives you can reinforce squad another second Sherman for 50MP. Begun, the blob wars have. In: COH2 Balance

I would say to add a shitty mortar in T0 for USF, and give it a shitty barrage, good smoke, and vet 1 WP rounds. See how the matchup is then, and adjust as necessary. That sounds like a good idea. Give USF a cheap mortar with a low-cooldown smoke barrage, so that they can pop smoke without bleeding all their munitions. Would certainly be interesting to have a mortar with a more strict support role, one that can't do much damage or bleed MP. Give it smoke and flares. Would also be cool if it could shoot little mines lol. In: COH2 Balance

It would be a picture of Alex holding Kati close while he asserted that the KT should have 600 frontal armor because it was invincible, while Kati looks up and flirtatiously responds that shitty late-war Krupp Steel couldn't even bounce a T-70. Oh, and I think reducing the SU-76 to 55 or 50 range like the STuG would really go a ways towards reducing the viability of total reliance on T3. Right now it can still use its range to mitigate its weak armor and low health, but if you make it so it has to get within enemy firing range to shoot, then it suddenly becomes a significantly worse idea to solo PzIVs or Panthers with it.
