It may have to do with its price, frailness, and range, especially compared to its counterparts and how soon its counter (Stuarts, Captain, any Soviet T3 unit) arrive which might be better spent on LMGs or Tellers.

It's hardly pricey, especially considering that you're pretty much guaranteed to get a 251 anyways. Slap a munitions cache down early and you'll be able to afford almost anything you want. I tend to build a muni cache as soon as possible, and the first muni purchase I make is a 251 flamer, followed by shrecks if I expect armor and don't want to get a pak, and then minefields and bunkers. Honestly I don't even get LMGs unless I'm already winning and can't think of anything else to spend muni on.

Allied light armor can be beaten without Axis armor, despite what many people will tell you. If you can fend them off just with your infantry, then your 251 is free to crit like crazy and make no building safe.

It is admitedly fragile, especially since small arms are guaranteed to destroy main guns at 25% health, which can be frustrating since two AT grenades and a few rifle hits will render it helpless. However, it has more range than an AT grenade, and at the time it comes that's usually all the range it needs.

If he has placed his SHQ out in the open, then you can kill it with an AT gun fairly quickly just using attack ground at range.

If he's placed it cleverly tucked away, then a mortar or two can take it out, or at least force him to bleed mp as he dedicates sturmpios to repairing it.

If you've got munitions to spare you can smoke it before rushing in and placing a demo charge.

Medium armor will take very little damage from the gun, though the dedicated AT units around it could be bothersome.

He can't control what it shoots at. Send wine armor in first to draw fire and then follow up with infantry. Make sure your infantry is still far enough away from your tank so they don't get hit by AoE suppression.

Either way, if you can hold a position around 50 to 60 range from the SHQ with LoS for just a few minutes, you can blow it up. If he dedicates with forces to repair through your siege and hold off armored advances then his whole army is there, so go cap the rest of the map.

I recall an occasion I blew one up just barraging with mortar smoke non stop while my captain killed it with zooks.

Utilize these tips and OKW will feel far less powerful.

First poll question is poorly phrased. It gives the impression that people agree Allied early game/Axis late game are overwhelming through its phrasing, no option for those who think it's pretty even.

I see it everywhere, but it seems no along of context clues will help me define it.

I think stackable caches would do the trick, as long as you only get the benefits from caches that you yourself build.
