Thread: UKF September patch discussion30 Aug 2019, 17:39 PM Can we please not ignore the fact that the example being talked about was not one Churchill vs 4 Stugs but rather THREE Churchills vs 4 Stugs? Makes a hell of a difference to the balance discussion here. Stugs are not going to be effective when they are driving backwards while lowering accuracy, trying to get away from three tanks. Also, I can't support a damage nerf to 120 since it will impacts way too many things. Damage vs Emplacements, Abandoned Weapons, Emplacements, AoE vs Infantry, Light Vehicles... List goes on! People are mainly complaining about their Panthers or other High Tier units not detering them enough. Nerfing penetration will put the nerf where it is needed without hitting the unit with a sledgehammer. In: COH2 Balance

Remember how nobody used churchill in vcoh ( I'm not talking about AVRE or Croc) I think that's the goal of some people here, honestly. There are people who don't take the viablity of UKF at heart and just want it to disappear. Such is the life of a Pariah that the UKF has always been... As far as I see it, penetration of it's main gun is the only thing that needs to go down. The video that was linked was a good example of why. That means that bren upgrade will actually increase the effectiveness of tommies more. That would Imo that should be avoided. I'm having trouble understanding the logic behind this statement. Thread: UKF September patch discussion25 Aug 2019, 08:45 AM As someone who uses the Churchill for mobile heavy cover, I would rather keep the armour and health where it is for it to perform it's role as an Infantry Support tank. But I can certainly live with a penetration nerf to the Churchill's main gun or even a rate of fire decrease. It really shouldn't be destroying Panthers on it's own but it should be able to still take a beating. In: COH2 Balance

When it was done for the Centaur, it allowed it to operate just fine in the late game, where light cover would be everywhere. It really should make a difference to make up for it's new firing speed.
