I'd be more for the grenade side tech being cheaper so it isn't such a resource drain. It used to be worth it when rifles got the smoke but now since it's on 2-3 squads typically Itd be better if they got a price reduction to reflect its current strength.
As it is now 90% of games as USF you will not be able to spend that additional resources early that will delay tech or rifles. Since USF has such a fragile balance in the early game anyways the current price of USF nades isnt worth it imo.
Exacly I like current state its good change that rifleman have only granades and officers and re smokes but this side tech its too much ambu and granades upgrade cost u so much that i only bulid ambu and rush for jackson. Anyway granade upgrade should cost 10 or 15 fuel. |
Thats what Sander also suggested. I like your idea a lot! You have to choose between fast tech or a strong fighting unit.
221 and m20 should arive in same time they are similar units. So currently 221 is in good spot. Okw tier 1 is cheaper than usf tier 1 so teoricaly 221 should be faster on field than m20. By the way why grayhound is cp5? In team games cp5 is sometimes when u have major already |

Riflemen are disgustingly good, need toning down!
They are too cheap, too spammble, consistent damage, they throw those Frag grenades like pro baseball players, plus they make the entire garrison/cover play style look like a joke and toward mid-late game are like terminators. Either do something about the BAR upgrade/Frag nade or make them more expensive to reinforce and call it a day.

Commandos might as well receive the Stormtrooper treatment, spawning at full strength but with rifles with a free upgrade to Stens. This would solve all problems at once. No ludicrous MP cost, no cheesy retreat wipes. Infiltrating behind enemy lines at full strength (upgrading to Stens) would require planning and cunning.

Regarding Sanders proposal to give Overwatch the JT too:
- Wehrmacht has 2 Ele docs and 5 Tiger docs (icl. Tiger Ace)
- Soviets have 2 SU-15s docs, 2 IS-2 docs + 2 KV-2 docs (incl. new Urban Defense), + several docs providing KV-1 / T-34/85
- Brits will have 3 Croc docs (incl. new Tactical support)

I agree with Vipper that the USF mech has been stuffed with far too many abilities and units. It's insane, so insane TwistedTootsy will be rank 1 USF lvl if this goes live.
