I have seen your replays and your use of the rear echelon dudes as the meatsheild trailblazers decked out with minesweepers. I can see how this screws up your entire strategy. RIP indeed. |
Ty once again. And it wasn't you who said l2p it was someone else on page 1
In case of discovering that opponent is playing into spamming light vehicles I also advise going t2. Ofc as soon as you realise that, immidately, but immidately after discovering that not earlier. Also I don't feel I said l2p there. I did? Then I'm sorry but I didn't mean that. I wrote quite a long advice post for the OP and looks like he is grateful for it.
OK cool (: |
Thinking that you have to tech T2 ASAP is the curse of many players. You don't. Staying in t1 as long as possible is a way to go for at least half a year now. That, with t0, is exactly where you have best counters to usf
This is only true if the other player techs captain. If they tech Lt. You need to tech t2 immediately. Also never say l2p to someone asking something on the strategy forums . |
Kubels are going to change roles on this map drastically. Instead of forcing off middle, you can aggressively harrass the cutoff. Keep that in mind when you play USF. |
(enters room) No additional input on capping order but I just want to say OSTRUPPEN DOCTRINE!!! (runs) |
You have to tech fast with Brits, especially against ostruppen. Tanks are a serious threat against ostruppen so the sooner you get them the better. You seem to be focusing on tier 1 (or tier zero, whatever the fuck it's called), but Brits need to tech up. |
Bren carrier with the flamer upgrade.. protect it with at gun > win game. gets some mines with ammo after that. Get commandos + croc + OP strafes. Melt every thing. +2 Firefly's that completely makes all Axis armor useless. Ez game! Vanguard is all you need.
3 IS's
T2 > Sapper + AT gun
BC + wasp upgrade (90ammo)
Commandos + Croc
WIN GAME
Bro that is too late for a Bren carrier. Counter is already on the field. |
Also use commandos to destroy indirect fire weapons. |
Sure. For ettelbruck station, go 2 MGs (which you will rush to buildings) one additional infantry section, heal upgrades, fast tech for 2 engineers and either a sniper or a mortar pit. Get as many AT guns as you think you need. Mine the roads. Go anvil tactics. After that, you need to think about doctrines. All doctrines have some late game antigarrison tool. Build anvil tactics. If you are feeling cocky, use an AT emplacement to cover the advance of vehicles through the train tracks (but this is risky and weird). Tank building is the normal Brit stuff. Do not get brens. Save up for mines and late game call-ins and rely on your ally's infantry presence. Read the RTN team strategy guide for advice on playing Americans with Brits |
Since people have already mentioned how to clear garrisons, I will give you another peice of advice: don't let them get those buildings or have an MG in the building range. Brits have a huge damage output on their MGs. As long as you have one of those close by, you will win any garrison fights. |
