I don't think this is a clan problem - it's an individual problem. From what I've seen the clans concerned have done the right thing.
One person's stupidity shouldn't tarnish a whole clan.
And I'm not a clan member, btw, although I do play lots of team games with folks who are. |
Ban them for good. Bastards. |
The 'new' interviews contain nothing new. |
^ Great. Maybe the rest of us can get on with enjoying the game without having to listen to the 'pros' psychodrama about DLC, balance and all the rest of it. |
Oh poor baby they actually want you to pay for content....omg... welcome to the real world kids, you guys are seriously pathetic sometimes quit acting like you live in a jar for real and why should Relic have to give away their commanders for free if you play a lot... what would be in it for them then? You guys whining about actually having to pay for shit make me LOL, I mean come on seriously. Get a job kids then you can get stuff no one gonna give it to you and they shouldnt have too

Insta-vet worked in vCoH.
I agree it should cost more, and not apply to tanks. I think forty fuel to Vet 3 an infantry squad, for example, makes it a careful early game decision rather than a no-brainer. |
^ Seven weeks to release, Dane. Not long. It strikes me as a bit odd, but hey-ho. |
^ Yes, top cast and puts to rest some of the Elefant is OP! type arguments |
Hello CoH2.org community.
I'm one of those people who is looking forward to the new factions. Colour me a heretic, but I am even looking forward to counter-factual battles between the Americans and Russians, like Stalin played the ultimate gambit after Berlin. I also think the new, cheaper entry point for CoH2 is a great development for the game, the community and Relic.
My point is I am a broadly positive person who only wants good things for CoH2 in the round.
However...
This product is due out in, what, eight weeks? And what do we have?
* a short gameplay video
* some screenies
* some fairly enigmatic interviews where Quinn has been evasive as to specific faction mechanics
My question is why?
Is it:
(a) ZOMG this is going to be the Opposing Fronts of CoH2, with Oberkommando West as the new Brits and Relic know what the community reaction is gonna be?
(b) Poor marketing / community engagement
(c ) me missing something (entirely possible)
What does the community think?
I don't go to the official forums due to the moronic moderation policy, so forgive me if they are a treasure trove of useful info. Which I doubt. |
I play almost 50/50 and Soviets are much harder to play now in larger games. The grenspam with G43 surge is pretty unstoppable.
Panthers, my biggest bugbear, remain the troll unit of choice.
Soviet AT tactics now rely on a pretty complex matrix of units. I need mines, guards, AT guns and the occasional tank to fend off the tank spam (SU85 remains too susceptible to warp drive on German tanks). OTOH what do the Germans need?
Just their core units. A panther and couple of PzIvs are a credible full spectrum force in a way that a SU85 and a load of T34s are not.
Like I say, I play both factions and for me the balance stick has whacked the previously easy-mode Sovs too far the other way.
