Complete BS by relic. Cheaters should be banned. Players invest thousands of hours promoting and playing their product and they choose to go soft on the players who choose to ruin the gameplay of the honest players. Who is in charge of this company? They need to be fired. Cheating is the same as stealing game it does nothing but ruin the product.

He might as well be banned. No reputable player will ever partner up with him again. They should release the names of everyone though, if they aren't getting banned they need to at least be publicly shamed.

It is completely disrespectful to the honest customers of the game to not ban the cheaters. There are customers who have been victims of the cheaters and resetting an abstract number on a list does nothing. At least ban the cheaters so they have to buy another copy under another name. There is no excuse for such a soft response on the matter. Why is relic more worried about hurting the feelings of cheaters than the victims of the cheaters. How can a rts strive to be an esl game and not even ban the cheaters they catch?

The way I understood it was that relic is still working on it... I am pretty sure they won't let them get off easy.

Props to RtN for handling this so well, must be a shock to all of you. My condolences.

Now, looks like StC has some cleaning up to do...

Those 14 got off lightly. Straight out ban from automatch is what they deserve. Its the same in any other online game. People cheating in CoH2 never crossed my mind over the last 3 months I've been playing, but at the same time its not surprising to find out that a small number were actually doing it. That being said, for the amount of people that actually play automatch, for only 14 to be detected is a pleasantly low number. :)

Been doing some digging tonight, found some interesting stuff.

Relaaax, no reasonable clear minded individual is judging RtN as the result of one member's actions.

Good work. I notice a lot of disputes with those players. Could that be a hint as to how they had been cheating?

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I was digging around out of my own curiosity, it is somewhat interesting to see if you've ever played against (and beat) any hackers.

I've played against all three that we have identified. Once was against Raz, Con, and Ciez in 3v3. We delivered two of them their second loss in German 3v3, we thought that was cool. You're right, it is somewhat interesting. :foreveralone:

I don't hold it against the rest of you though. It is unfortunate for any clans associated with these players to suffer brand image damage, but the cohbros/ stand in solidarity with RtN. Lets make some t-shirts and hold hands.

The biggest hacker is this guy Nigo (OP)
