If you mean units automatically reinforcing without letting you decide, why would you want that? It's not like in CoH1 where reinforcing was indeed clumsy. In: Lobby

You know how Germans attacked Russia and found out they had far worse equipment in 1941? And how due to many reasons they actually had success and captured a lot of equipment? Let's make a doctrine out of that, eh? This is for Ost btw. 3 CP: Pilfered Weapons Grenadiers can be upgraded with SVT-40s (mutually exclusive with LMG42 but doesn't take any weapon slots, basically replaces Kar98k as the native weapon) while Panzergrenadiers can be upgraded with the PPSh-41 SMG (same deal). Because ~~they are German übermensch~~ they are 4 man squads and not 6, these weapons would of course be more effective. 5 CP: T-26 Light Tank Call in a captured T-26 Light Tank! Pretty much a cheaper but worse T-70. 8 CP: Panzer IV Command Tank 8 CP: PzKpfw T-34(r) The best tank of 1941, now equipped with German camoflauge and a commander's cupola! Doesn't ram, but it can blitz and get armored skirts (which were used for T-34s IRL) Equipped with versatile, über powerful 76mm cannon. 12 CP: KV-1 Ace Not only captured, but also Aced KV-1 tank! The other best tank of 1941, used by Germans! It's an Ace! You're limited to one and it's the same old KV-1 just limited to one, coming at Vet 3, and replacing Vet 1 with Blitz and vet 2 with Armored Skirts. In: Lobby
Thread: Damn this balance5 Mar 2015, 22:24 PM Guys, I actually think I have a good solution for the whole 85/76 debate. Basically, 85 comes in place of 76 after you purchase an upgrade that costs 50% of T3, and has the exact same stats as it does now. Playtesting has shown it to be pretty balanced; some even said that it came in too late and that they would rather stick to doctrines. And my solution to 76 was an Armored Reserves ability that calls in a pair of them for 800 MP, unlocked after you have all tech levels, which cost a total of 400 Fuel. Since T1 or T2 + T3 cost 170 fuel, and another 200 for T-34/76, this means your first pair comes in 30 fuel more expensive, but any subsequent pairs you get are for MP only. The difference is that you have access to your entire faction, you get the tanks quite a bit later than you would get your first T-34/76, and it comes late enough that Panthers and other stuff like that are there to make MP-only T-34/76 balanced. Get OKW nerfed then, zero reason OKW should gain resources from caches besides the salvage system being too linear. Ost pulls its weight. As for the thread, personally I prefer Relief Infantry. The resulting MP float (those who are moaning about Ostheer MP starvation, try this out) is immense and you're massively powerful with all the team weapons yoou pick up along the way. Just don't forget a Pak40, a halftrack, and an MG42; maybe a mortar, and then push with those picking up everything on the way. Of course artillery hardcounters this, so that's why I prefer Lightning War doctrine that can turn the MP float and amassed fuel thanks to not needing it much into Tigers. I once won a game where I lost 3 Tigers using this tactic. 7 Ostruppen squads in the end. Was amusing to have them take forever to kill an AT gun when focus firing from out of cover.
