Your supporting infantry can't be everywhere. I understand you are trying to defend the USF, but such claims are out of order.. I really don't see the problem described there, there's a whole other HMG and Gren that can protect the flanks if one of both of those are occupying two rifles (which they should be able to). So I'll be saying again I find the real problem is teching costs making it very unlikely you'll actually have those four units for their four units at the same time, which is definitely dumb. I would absolutely love using mortar smoke if it could just reliably fire in a line that you decide. That would make it excellent for screening and allow you to have troops follow just behind the shells landing. Now, it's...mostly just there to get to HMG-garrisoned buildings because it's too awkward to be reliable for anything else. Scatter distance is how far (in range) the projectile can go from the desired target when it rolls a miss, in front and back. Scatter angle determines how far the projectile can go from left to right, in a cone measured in degrees from the shooter. So you put those two together, and then you can figure out the entire area a missed shot can go into. In: COH2 Gameplay

The call-in builds that are basically the only thing one will ever do on Wehrmacht allow them to deal with the rest of the game fine. The painful teching costs are the real issue with the Wehrmacht's early game...and of course the late-game when you're not using call-ins, but everyone already knew that. In: COH2 Gameplay

It got cancelled after it killed its crew by landing upside down during trials. A variant based on the valentine tank, the Valentine Gap Jumping Tank, also existed and was cancelled because it usually landed upside down as well. The crew probably took the testing job all thinking "This is going to be so awesome." And probably was kinda still in spite of whole, you know, embarrassing deaths and all. In: COH2 Gameplay

As OKW, you need to use other infantry units such as obers, pfs, falls, JLI, or even sp. as AI units to play more competitively and effectively. while the advantage of keeping volks within your army is to give them shreck (cause they lose vs other faction infs 1v1) Until they get vetted, at which the title goes to Scripts. And not even at vet 5, at vet 2. Volks will have -10% received accuracy, +30% accuracy and -20% weapon cooldown while Scripts will just have +40% accuracy (...and +25% molotov range. Ooooooooooooooooh), though Scripts will get the better end of the deal at vet 3, but it's definitely over for them at the vet 4 they will never have. And I did not suggest to not utilize those other options. I do not suggest Soviets players to never use Snipers, Shocks and Guards, USF players to never upgrade BARs or get Paras, or Wehr players to never upgrade LMG42s - nor do I suggest OKW players to never use the many other AI infantry options they have available to them. But Scripts still make Volks look like gods of war mid and late game. In: COH2 Gameplay

Do you know how and why volks vet up fast, and why they are the units you can see (more often in comparison with other units) at higher vets? It comes from the damage they deal using their shrecks bro! Which is literally impossible without Schrecks. Except the part where it isn't. Keep em' alive and fighting, receive vet. It's pretty inevitable for any OKW infantry (the weapon teams and vehicles are the harder parts). In: COH2 Gameplay
