I hope this is true because I've lost a couple tanks to that ability when I thought they were safe and I swear I had no indication the ability was even being called in until I physically saw the plane. Yeah and the average gun made sense before, and it doesn't now because of the armor values it has to fight. They overbuffed it with the pen bonuses, which they recently addressed. They also reduced focus sight recently, but you still think it's OP? It is not "superior". It has a longer max range, but in a tiny cone and it comes with significant movement penalty You can't really compare it to recon vehicles at all, they aren't locked behind t4 and don't cost 130 fuel. That matters a lot here because you're putting that investment at risk everytime you use this "superior" ability. It's not a good comparison to make at all In: COH2 Balance

We're still seeing the same LeFH and CB as we have seen for the last 8 years. I don't see the point here though. I'm saying it was always dumb, so yeah nothing needed to happen in the last 8 years? I think almost all loiter abilities that attack are hilariously OP still, and they used to be even worse. Does the fact that they haven't gotten better recently make them not OP? But suddenly this is used to state that CB is OP because it tracked (no personal statement of mine on CB intended here). But this OPness went unnoticed for years, so it probably is not as a huge deal as some make it out to be. Or CB was always dumb and this just pushes it over the top. Imo the only real issue here is ml20 vs leFH. I have a much harder time killing leFHs with ml20s than vice versa, and I'm not sure why there should be such a difference. This might of been true when Brits first came out but a lot has changed since then. Alpha Brits were even more hilariously OP, and their commanders had a weird gimmick that was also really strong I can definitely understand having that opinion at some point before, but it hasn't been true for a while to be honest In: COH2 Balance

I understood what you wrote. Like I said, there are fewer options with those offmaps than there are with leFHs And as I've already pointed out, this also leaves the soviets out entirely. They are literally the most relevant in this discussion because they are the only allied faction with static howitzers, and are the most effected by counter barrage Jump back to quoted post23 Mar 2021, 12:10 PMVipper One does need to know the enemies commander in advance, one can always pick a commander after his opponent. Regardless going into a 3vs3 or 4vs4 without a commander with off map or arty is probably a strategical mistake. This doesn't respond to the point again. All leFH commanders give you that reliable counter already. It's built-in. You don't have to consider it at all. Of course you don't go in without one on your loadout, for christs sake That leaves out the design of the ability itself, which I would love to see you try to justify. Free and no duration? Little to no user-input required? This is balanced in your opinion? In: COH2 Balance
