"The 6-men bonus" for the soviets is a lot more like saying "higher armour value" is a bonus for axis. These "bonuses" are directly accounted for with very visible trade-offs. Axis tanks generally cost more; so do the 6-man squads except conscripts, who have a 20% larger target size than grenadiers, have no weapon upgrade, and need 35 fuel invested on JUST THEM alone (BP1 is 40 fuel) to get snare/mollys. Now IMO getting the rifle-nade and LMG42 with Bp1 is not comparable to free Officers, 25lbers, and the OKW truck bonuses (only 1 of which is free anymore). But the divide is always larger between WFA and EFA than Axis and Allies. Despite the tendency of people to argue along those lines. In: COH2 Balance

It should be just a straight 1v1 fight with no luck factor in it. Like Age of Empires, where you mostly win if you manage your economy better. Then play something else. Sorry if that's rude, but saying company of heroes needs to be more like AOE means you're kind of missing the point of this game. Other than the camera angles, it should not be hard to see that this game is trying to be something completely different. Unit micro matters more, because you have fewer units.... I'm not saying that none of the randomness in this game needs looking at (abandon criticals still being around is laughable), but you went from making a miscalculated point about t34 vs P4, to saying the game needs to change entirely. Thread: worst patches in coh2 history11 Jun 2018, 20:19 PM I don't consider bugged patches to be even close among the worst. It is far worse when bad decisions lead to issues, than when mistakes. Like those saying the combined arms bug from the Pershing Commander was bad; we had to deal with that for like 2 weeks... The WFA launch broke the game for years. In: COH2 Balance

Yes well I don't agree with the OPs point that caches have to go because of tank rush. I agree with this idea but I think you're wrong to conclude that it means caches can't be an issue at all in team games. I think all of the points you made get watered down the more players you add. Territory changes hands less often in team games, it's easier to spare the mp on a cache. You say it's only worth it if your squad presence isn't hurt by the purchase. That's a great point in 1v1s, but you can have up to 3 people benefitting without spending anything. Also as you say there's more territory points in team games, which also means there's more "safe points" where little effort is needed to prevent the cache from being destroyed. In: COH2 Gameplay

People should be able to win games with enough luck? 4 M10s winning vs 1 KT doesn't sound like luck. It sounds like 360 fuel worth of TDs doing it's job. And by your logic, because you backed up your KT into a building, it should be invincible to anything short of a heavy TD? That sounds like a fun game to play In: COH2 Gameplay
