Ahh but that's not what you had been saying. You did indeed say the last patch was allied biased (if you weren't banned from the official forums you could go over and look), and you suggested that Relic has always been leaning that way for as long as the game has run. You regularly attacked the balance team, who were involved in multiple patches, not just one. And that patch had plenty of nerfs and buffs to both sides. Again if you weren't banned... Yes but what does "elite" have anything to do with it? According to you shocks are elite, and pgrens are elite. Shocks will beat pgrens 1v1 in a fight. Penals and pgrens could go either way. But penals are fine and shocks are not. To me this shows its probably a cost and timing thing. Ppsh cons may be too cheap, perhaps shocks should be cheaper with a weapon upgrade. My point is I think the squad stats are fine, and that I'm tired of how many people treat "elite" as some official class of units. In: COH2 Balance

Heres a fact: PGrens and Stormtroopers are elite infantry squads of Wehr. Shocks and Guards are elite infantry squad of SU. No other elite units for eastern front factions exist. "Elite" is little more than a descriptive word, and doesn't really mean much to the conversation. Penals are very strong, and unless you can't dodge the potato masher, they can go toe-toe with pgrens in a head to head fight. You say the schreck upgrade is part of what makes pgrens elite, but when they get it they can be forced off by much weaker infantry in exchange for being decent vs mediums. They're still a 4 man squad which can only be so good for AT. Shocks are "elite" but can't fight a single thing outside close range. Depending on the situation it can very easily be better to just get another penal squad, or go ppsh cons if you want cqc. Neither of those squads are "elite" (or are they) but can easily be better options. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The Utterly Atrocious Vehicle Pathing30 Jul 2018, 18:27 PM Only real complaint I have is that we still have the phenomena of tanks randomly stopping and starting. But that's less of a pathing "design" issue and more of a bug that happens to effect pathing. The command points not being path blockers would be nice, but it's not the end of the world as it is now. When was the last time you saw a brumbarr dive after something? It's not exactly a chaser... Not to mention, it's a lot easier for Ost to talk about planting mines to deal with late game vehicles. You can plant one at 5 minutes into the game and it might actually last until t4 units hit the field. Everyone else's mines have been popped by infantry by then and need to be replaced In: Ostheer Strategies

Thread: Axis vs Allied win percentage?29 Jul 2018, 04:54 AM It is a large discrepancy, but if you're getting your data where I think you are (coh2charts?), then those numbers haven't been updated since April 2017. US does seem pretty bad in team games though. Their late game feels especially difficult outside of 1v1 In: COH2 Gameplay
