Add some onf my own : Ban Ettelbruck too, really anoying map , and rail and metal. simple strats are the best, as said Sarantini, Infantry + airborne is the classic choice, here are my my tips : Use your high mobility tanks, you are cons heavy compo as you don't play soviet. Classic first is agressive m20 + m8 + jacks, go 2 or 3 rifles(depends on how many rifle model you need to reinforce) + 1 fuel cache + lieut + m20 => armored upgrade and plant a mine before going in fight, bait the puma if there is one. Build a second fuel cache + a paratrooper if you manage to not loose that many model, major + m8 (It should come at 8min 30 if you go with this build), then you can either go for a second m8 or a jackson, for a late game of 3 rifles(late game, replace wiped squad by para, but don't waste MP to have 1000 inf squad, first it's useless, second, you got the more MP heavy infantry, don't waste all your more than need MP because you won fight, but loose each time 4 of the 5 models). 3 rifles 1 para. 1 lieut. 1 m20. 2m8. 1 jackson. Your role un your team ? You're the MP drainer, as many Axis just now spam infantry because you know, riflemen is the best core infantry but loose to gren, pgren, ostroopen volks (that another debate I know)and you don't have the ISU wipe power or the heavy tanks, you will just send your inf to cap, covered by your m8, Infantry is just a screen, killing ? Don't care, just let the m8 destroy the infantry, with the new cover mechanic and the "stack close to each other", you will wipe many many many squad, trust me, with this , i can kill, on a 30 min long match, 50/100 infantry model(with only the m8), easy. You have to do it first to counter the insane shrek blob for far (Sherman is too short ranged, but not the m8). Be fast, be Mobile, attack everywhere, support your troops with m8, support your mate troops too, very important, attack where there is no AT gun.Put some mines with m 20/upgrade your para, but don't forget to manage your ammo to get 240 mp for a p47 strafe Second is the infantry tank fighter , you go with the same start 3 riflemens, on cache, ambulance(You will need a ambulance, one for 2 in the béginning is enought) captain then you can choose, you are really good on this stage of the game (having both fuel), go for the stuart, fear a early tank from Osth, go for a 51 mm at, hard infantry spam, howi is for you, then you go major, and jackson first if you don't have AT gun, then you can take 1 sherman but mainly jackson. You should be like : 3-5 rifles captain stuart or at guns howi Jacksons sherman Your role ? You're the tank hunter, you work with your mate, he oblitarate infantry, you cover the m8 with your jackson and AT gun, your m1919 infantry will just pin the enemy infantry, and you will watch your bromate breaking them.You won't have the same infantry kills, but you will have 10/20k more dmg than your friend. End game, hunt big boys (like JT, KT, and tiger) as a team, m8 smoke barrage, frontal and flankin charges. That's how I personnaly play USF with random effectivly, going to top 3 in 2v2(then going back, random mates are randoms) I envi you guy, found no potent mate so far. |

Hey guys, I'll speack for USF, soviet is not my cup of tea. You answer to your own question, so all you need is practice, practice practice , i'll not give you build order as game a "unique" and you need to adapt to every situation. Heavy infantery blob is easy to deal with USF, you got a large map, flank them/ avoid them, split up and push, let the soviet use MG(they go for IG/mortar ? No problem, let you soviet ally pick up 120 mm mortar and lol at axis mortar) if he go tier 2 , if he go snipers, he will surely drain MP by killing model. If you go "standard" lieut tech, choose wisely, m20(destroy kubel/ chase enemy mortar HT) ? m15(very usefull if and only if used at max range) ? Smaller map like semo, use green cover , you will have mostly mid range fight, OKW go double sturm, focus them, they're long to reinforce and cost many MP, don't waste your riflemens model. A early ambulance is good too on smaller map. one .50 cal used to cover engagment is a great tool too. Later on, a m8 as soon as possible is a good choice, but play wisely, hide the tank behind a house (and use true sight to fire over the house), get the m8 behind a friendly HMG, hide behind a bush, don't let the enemy have a sight on it, you will be fine. Armor commander with 105 mm sherman is devastating too, in 2v2 you can just wipe many MANY model in one shot, a week ago, in lierneux, a OKW blobber charge me , he didn't know I got a 105 mm, like 4/5 volks + shrecks, the 105 mm shoot, hit them, killed 15 man , and even if they know you got it, engage with riflemen, and send sherman after it, , it will always kill 1 man to squad wipe if he not miss the shot. + opponent will not think of a armor commander as USF play mostly inf/airborne. Regular sherman can do good, but you need to coordonate with your mate, will he go for ISU or IS, t/85 ? You need to split your armor force(he go AT, you go AI ect ect, you go screen tanks, he go long range heavy ). Usualy, I got for AATH or M20 , then m8 if heavy inf blob and you know they will not get a armor soon like a p4, if they are close to get one, get a sherman instead. second armor should always be a jackson to prevent armor from rushing your m8. 3 armor can be what you want. A good jagtiger(behind line) covered, with faust and AT gun will be a hard task, basicly, I send my infantery to fight, I'm being protected by ISU , so when I engage vs blob, i'll loose less than Axis. When I see were the jagtiger is looking at, I send a flanking attack with my tanks, If I can't flank, I still win the figt as ISU will probably force enemy to fall back, , where Jagtiger will do nothing to my inf. If Isu get shot, it's not a problem, it can take some shots , send your tanks to support, don't loose one, let's just waste their inf on ISU. Only way to win. If you don't overwhelm/drain MP your opponent after the first jagtiger, you will lost. You can fight any threat with a basic late game armor build up (2 jacks 1 m8 1 sherman 105 mm/e8/regular sherm) if you get supported by 1 or 2 ISU, you can close combat any tanks , even a KT, and the ISU will just blow up inf for long range and protect you from jagtiger. Sadly , you mate is forced to go ISU (or b4)every game vs a Jagtiger OKW, if OKW don't go jagtiger, IS or t34/85 is a strong choice if your mate don't want to play ISU. Walking stuka : Don't go in building, basicly a Stuka will attack in a line front (if you got a line of mg) or attack on the retreat path, wat work well is to move forward your troops, send them close to your enemy troops, they will never strike near their troops. basicly don' t retreat, if OKW player know how to use stuka, you will basicly lost your troops on retreat. P.S: and alway do one zis/ at paradrop, it cost MP but it's needed (even if i a standard game USF can have a tank at 8/10 min mark) In: Strategy Desk |

you can win with m15 vs shrek blobs, but you need to be very very micro intensive and do some smart play to overwelm your opponent. You can't just send your m15 in front line vs heavy schreks blob, you have to send 1/2 riflemens to scout, then you place your HT , to make it shoots on FIST ONE volks squad place the arc of fire dots on it (so you will basicly be just in range to shoots, sorry, my english ain't that good) , with the HMG and the auto cannon of the HT you will suppres the first volk squad, others will need to split to get the HT, if not they will just be pinned before shooting, if they split, just hit and run, you will be ok, take care of street or close range engagment, and it will be fine, if you can be flanked, just suppres or pin one/2 volks squad then retreat the HT , riflemens will do the jobs. |
