Even though income is completely halted, you could just call it in when the VPs are very low to murder everything. There are almost no downsides in that situation. Soviet industry ability also sounds OP as hell. Non-stop tank pumping with vehicle crew repair and repair station. It's like the King Tiger from VCoH. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Victory at Stalingrad on next week 10 Nov 2013, 03:26 AM So, instead of trying to bring in new people into the game, they start milking everyone who is playing. This is the kind of shit that drives people away. When they did it for Case Blue, I pretty much didn't play for a month in protest. This is just ridiculous. The community thought that this was just wrong for Case Blue and yet they continue this with "Victory at Stalingrad". At this point in time, I think it's hit a stage where the accessories cost as much as the bloody game. This is unacceptable. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: CoH2 Early Game9 Nov 2013, 11:06 AM I do agree with Nullist where Ost certainly does have a problem with mainline infantry being able to take out units in buildings. However, I don't think the solution would be to change the molotov or the Flamer. I think the solution is to bring snipers (both Ost and Sov) back to VCoH levels in terms of hitting buildings. It should be a 100% hit rate. Why? Because the snipers only have a limited number of shots they can pull out so they really can't take down a whole squad in the building. Furthermore, sniper play is already quite risky - 360 MP for a relatively fragile unit. Just because a few people have mastered sniper play doesn't mean that the game should be adjusted to it. After all, if they have managed to master using snipers, they should be rewarded for it. Maybe if the M3 Halftrack/222 Scout car could get a slight bonus against snipers (if possible) that would be great! In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Still worth investing time and energy into COH2?23 Oct 2013, 10:34 AM I quit after getting really annoyed with the new $5 commanders that came out. On principle, it was a horrible idea and I hope that Relic can get around to fixing this. Esp since I spent enough money without the DLC (at the time (this was when THQ was still around), it was 90 for standard/120 for DLC), it really just felt like a slap in the face. Otherwise, it is still a pretty awesome game. Many would tell you VCoH is a lot better (myself included) but most agree, that, at least, COH2 is not bad. It's worth learning. I found that, after playing more VCoH, my tactical thinking in chess was a lot quicker and sharper, so the skills that you get in COH2/VCoH don't only stay in COH2/VCOH, it also can be used in other games In: Lobby

In COH1, you have Volks which aren't good as mainline Grens but could still hold their own against early American Rifles and wasn't spammable. Now, with the side that's supposedly more well known for being well equipped, you now have a spammable unit that is cannon fodder and also costs a lot less that conscripts... In: COH2 Balance
