I like this game because of great graphic, I always wanted a game similar to this. I am a big fan of WW2, i was born and raised in Eastern Europe and when i lived there I always had a chance to visit places where great battles took place. Believe it or not but there is a real ww2 mg bunker in the backyard of my parents summer house near Minsk!!!
I just couldn't wait for this game to be released on June, 25th and I really loved CoH2 since day 1 despite poorly designed awful single player campaigns, balance issues and such.
Recent DLC commanders are totally bullshit and they ruin my game experience. What's up with this stupid "buy veterancy" crap? And free super duper tank??? Take it away from the game please! Every time I see vet 3 gren squad running against my vet1 consqript I quit. Bullcrap. Unreal. Not fair. I'm thinking of starting playing something else.
TBH, Sov Industry is even worse. Still, there are ways of dealing with vet 3 grens like snipers or mortars, anything that picks them off one by one helps. Remember that Ost will almost always have less units than you.
But yeah, its pretty bullshit that they have a buisness model like this. |
To make the Tiger Ace work, here goes
1. AI must be severely reduced. So it goes around acting like a KT
2. As such, the tiger ace isn't as strong anymore as infantry based units can now take it down. So resources will be cancelled for 5 minutes. |

We've given our feedback for months and continue to. However, we've been called greedy, elitist, entitled, and a whole bunch of other fun things. This game is not being designed for us, unfortunately.
Jesus that bad?
How to piss off communities and kill games 101. Seriously, why would you do this against your most experienced players who actually bring attention to your game in the first place. |
Looking back, most of us would wish Valve bought out Relic instead of Sega.
Haha, I remember the time when everyone here was going, "YES Sega's taken over COH2. This is good"
But in all honesty, considering the financial situation THQ was in, they had to make either a) a steep buying prices for COH2 and/or b) a Pay to win game. So you had no dice with THQ either way. |

I am sort of frustrated with the amount of criticism I see coming from the old vCoH community yet how many of these people actually actively provide feedback to Relic? I read the forums a lot and since the alpha/beta stages I believe I can say that number would be well less than 10%. I now expect little from this era and once SNF5 is done I expect close to none. Would love to see myself proved wrong though.
I think for me, what made me really unhappy was the DLC $5 Multiplayer commanders. Although there is some new content, not only is $5 a steep price for it but it also segments the community, and after paying $80-90 for a standard preorder while THQ was at the helm, it feels ridiculous.
Otherwise, before that, I was actually quite positive about this game. It was only when this started happening that I was going, hang on, this doesn't feel right, something's wrong here. |
You should waste more mp reinforcing damaged cons/grens units, thus delaying tech.
Players not spamming those units should tech as usually.
You have obviously not played with vet 3 rifles.
And tech is mostly dependent on fuel, not mp.
Hope that may explain why nullist is a bit annoyed |

New guest-stars are emerging from the community and playerbase. CoH1 had a 7 year run uptil SNF4 and there were bound to be known names along the way. This game is 6 months old, and new great players are emerging. This isnt CoH1, some would like it to be, some dont. Also, that is not really up to the SNF crew to change (if needed) but rather up to relic (who wont).
I think they put in a great amount of effort in the SNF and its great quality. Really want them to continue going.
Yeah, I completely agree that the SNF crew are doing a pretty great job, but yeah, I suppose if you compare SNF from last year and this year, the differences are pretty obvious. Probably can be summed up by the game anyway. |

Almost nobody who was involved in competitive vCoH is interested in competitive CoH2, so until the game receives major changes to encourage those players to become involved again or until the game manages to attract a different set of players willing to invest the time and effort necessary to cultivate a competitive community, you're going to see the current trend continue.
Sigh, yeah, I mean everyone here was looking forwards to so much, and now, it's kinda meh now.
Oh well, I hope they find a way to solve this. |

Credit to Ami, I think he's doing the best job he can with SNF but...
Do you guys reckon that theres a lot less enthusiasm for SNF5 this year compared to SNF4? With SNF4, there were guest casters and good action all of the time (not to mention from the casters)
With SNF5, a lot of what made SNF4 good seems to be lacking.
I think this kinda speaks more about the game and what it's done to the community than SNF tbh, the lack of guest casters kinda shows the lack of interest from the competitive community.
What do you guys think? |
@Nullist, sigh do you have to fight against everyone on the forums? You do have very good contributions but seriously... give people some breathing space
Anyway... game is not too bad for balance if we consider the original 5. It's actually somewhat irritating that they keep on spamming commanders and screwing up balance and the community at the same time. |
