I have been playing a lot. Is it any of your business? Are you Mr. Playercard police while not having a playercard yourself?
It has nothing to do with your playercard itself. It has everything to do with your playercard not showing any ranked games. Had you been playing any ranked games, you would have a ranking instead of a "P". If you haven't been playing any ranked games, then why are you starting balance threads? What are you basing it on?

we don't, maybe personal link ?
Is there a setting that makes it private?

Funny that you say that when you don't have a playercard in your profile.
So you're not going to even bother denying that you've been calling for USF nerfs on a patch you haven't played competitively. Are you posting all this preemptively, just in case you were going to play an actual game?
My player card is right under my profile pic. I see it whenever I am logged in. |
Played tons of high level 2v2s since the patch, had 0 issues as OKW.
And sorry but I dont agree with these nerfs at all, you can ask the top tier 1v1 players and most of them say that the powerspike of free LT and especially the fast M20 is the biggest threat in 1v1 atm.... and not the riflemen.
As others previously mentioned there would be a lot options to nerf M20 without hammering it too hard.
- increase the build time a lot or
- increase manpower cost or
- add a munition cost to the unit as well (crew has a zook)
etc etc
The OP has no ranked games as any faction since before the patch, so one could legitimately question if he has had any problems as OKW either.
I do wish they would take out the powerspike for LT and CPT but either turning the tech into an unlock (without the LT but adjust fuel and MP to something like 50/20) or simply adjusting the cost to something like 300/25. I'd much prefer the unlock as I could have more build diversity.
The M20 could simply have it's timing changed. It's already a lot of resources for something that gets countered by almost any other light vehicle. Also, if they took the zook away from the crew and compensated by lowering the cost of the armor skirts, it would force players to use it more cautiously as they would have at most 1 zook from the LT around it in case of a 222.

My friends that play Brits complain about the sections getting run over whether in cover or not. It happens more with better players who play more aggressively.
When I play Soviet, I am annoyed by how many terrible or mediocre units it has.
The standard mortar is definitely worse than the Ost, much more than any price difference justifies.
The 120mm mortar rarely does anything. I've tried it several times and usually get around 10 kills with it. It went crazy once and got 25-30. In contrast, I often get 40+ with a Leig which is cheaper and has less pop cap.
Cons could use a small buff, maybe just a small price decrease (before the 7th man upgrade). I think they're okay after the upgrade.
The maxim either needs a slight improvement to its setup time, or a much wider arc. I'd rather have a wider arc.
OKW should be able to build caches. We're a long ways removed from the OKW that was initially released.
Ost still needs a 60 range TD on a lot of maps, even if it was a doctrinal JP4.
USF still has too limited access to a damage sponge, and if you get one that is doctrinal then you give up any kind of arty. |
Congratulations, you just proved you used tank hunter commander vs easy CPU.
In real games, only in an already won 4v4 fuckfest and against a plant level of reaction player you can succesfully pull a Conscript AT assault vs heavy TDs... its literally punching the dead horse.
Of course tank hunter packs quite a punch, but it is so predictable...
B4 adds some 'excitement' RNG + a direct fire revamp
I did some tests on the PTAB bombing run while testing howitzers. It's around 9 seconds from the time that the smoke shows up until the bombs hit. It makes the AT nade assault look speedy. Damage was more random than I thought at first. I had runs do 200 - 600 damage if the target was large like a KT. Bombing runs that hit a P4 would do 200-400. It's more or less worthless.
I'd much rather have Mark Target and Guards than either howitzer. Having Guards to button makes getting off a AT nade assault much easier. Also something like a Teller would be a lot better than the stun mine.
Lastly, I tested Cons with PTRS's versus standard Volks. They lose really badly where the normal Cons don't lose too badly. It'd be helpful to normalize the damage so that they aren't worse than standard Cons. |
yeah this is bullshit how good is okw simcity this is like royal arty with cancer regiment in one. Without priest u will propobly lose hardly if u are usf
The combination of Overwatch skill planes and Schwerer combined with units from both players make this difficult for any faction to deal with. It doesn't bother me as much in AT matches but it's really difficult in a random match. I'm not sure why the Bofors was nerfed, as it was generally a joke anyway, and this type of sim city got no nerfs. If anything, howitzers should be made easier to destroy.
BTW, I tested LEFH versus ML20. The LEFH still wins the arty fight most times, and is pretty decent at actually destroying the ML20 where the ML20 struggles to get anything better than a decrew. |
You’re not gonna get much from a an IS2, unless you’ve gone Elite Armoured. Command Panther alongside 2-3 raketens is your best bet.
JP4's do just fine against IS2's on most maps. They bounce once in awhile but always seem to hit. The IS2 misses it probably more than the JP4 bounces off the IS2.
Also, since they made the Command Panther tied to the Schwerer, Spec Ops isn't that great. I still sometimes have it in my loadout for arranged teams but don't use it when playing with randoms. I'd need to be sure that I was going to get a lot out of arty flares before I gave up Falls, Pf's, or JLI's. |
Heavy Tank Call-In Changes for all Factions
[From my experience so far and in 2vs2 game MOD IS-2/Tiger/Persing/Croc have become even more popular due to earlier arrival. Even KT seem more popular, while I see less of JT/ELe/ISu-152.
It seems like they come earlier and has shortened the window for getting use of medium tanks. I notice this the most with the OKW P4 which always used to be my first piece of armor. Now I sometimes get a JP4 (especially if bad map control) because I'm expecting to see an IS2 or Croc earlier.
I see a lot more Crocs and even some Comets. The Crocs can be difficult to deal with. Comets still seem pretty lackluster. As Soviet, I still get ISU's occasionally, but often get a doctrine that has KV1's in it as those seem to counter Falls spam better than T34's now.

LEfh-ml20 Range 35 - 250
vet 3 Range 35 - 332.5
B4 Range 35 - 250
Priest Range 35 - 180
Sexton 35-160
Thanks, this makes more sense. I had a LEFH that hit vet 5 on Lienne Forrest. When it did, it could reach almost the entire map.
As for the OP's question, I think the state of counters for okay for USF, Soviet and Ost. OKW and UKF probably need improved (less expensive or more reliable) counters. I wouldn't support anything that made them harder to counter. I've had games on Poltawa that were going well until someone put up a howitzer right outside their base, protected by their Schwerer. After awhile, it's wiping infantry squads in my base. A sim city with a unit that can wipe anything, anywhere, is worse for gameplay than the Brit's sim city.
If the LEFH got a slight nerf that lowered its performance to closer to the ML20'S then I'm fine with it. I think it needed more of a scatter nerf than a ROF nerf, but am fine with either. |
