I don't understand some people on this forum, Relic decided to make radical changes for old problem - which is good, made preview patch to test it - witch is also good. In current state state there isn't important good or bad those changes are, what important that Relic ready for those kind of changes. Will this patch solve all problems - no, could it be mistakes in this patch - yes, but it isn't end of the world, it is just first steps in new direction, of course some decisions will be wrong. In almost every patch something is UP and something is OP and people still play, still adapt. It will take more than one patch and 1 month complete those changes, and it will scare only those who are not interested in the better game. |
Rifles need to have their rifle smoke taken away otherwise the mortar just simply is a useless units since they can smoke to get by mgs and go for a packhowi which is way better. People won't build the mortar.....
US mortar wont give you immediate access to smoke, its vet 1 ability - white phosphorus, however even than its useful against mg and garrisons, short range but accurate. |
Guards are very good unit for defence, of course they are weaker than specialized AI squads at offence, but this is 6 men squad with 40% rec. accuracy at 3rd star, put them into green cover and they will be very resistant. |
Btw, I have played games as allies but they are not high enough ranked to show there and some under AT games.
It's just pure lies, any game in automatch will be shown at your playcard, no matter rank, even 1 game against rank 10000. And 9 games with AT is definitely enough for solid opinion. |
It should be one answer for all of such abilities in the game, not like now, when some abilities have such privilege without any reason. In my opinion - yes they should be disabled within HQ sector. |
I think main problem is timing, counter barrage appears when simcity is in strongest position and must be countered by artillery. Just moving it to late game abilities, like 8-10CP, could work, cause window for counter play will be much wider. |
LeFH is kinda useful in 2v2+ against British simcity, you just need to know safe from counter barrage places. But in general howitzers underperform, I think they need bigger AOE with small damage, lower than 80. |
I think there is no reason for such changes, just small MP cost reduction and same for popcap could be a trick, something like 280-270/80 and 10-8 pop. But I would prefer some changes with vet, ram rework and maybe some kind of MU based upgrade. |
So that balance preview mod will contain changes of the upcoming patch or some other changes?
