Ya, I highly doubt OKW will break 50%, id put them more in the 35% range. Ostheer can stand up better, but even then they feel noticeably weaker. When I'm playing axis, it honestly feels like your fuel starved for the entire game, either via tech costs or a literal penalty.
As for my skill as a player, I usually sit around the 500-700 rank, but often spike upwards when I have the time. Generally speaking I win 55-60% of the time. This is specifically in 2V2 Random teams. |
The balance in 2v2 at the moment is the worst it has ever been, by a long shot. Germans have zero answer to any skilled British players, their snipers are borderline invincible. Match those snipers with US riflemen and the game is just hopeless. I've played roughly 10 2v2 games as axis in the last 2-3 days and haven't managed to win out a single game. Admittedly, I'm no pro, but I do have 700 hours in the game and an equal amount in the first CoH, and consider myself a fairly competent player.
Something needs to change, and I'm not touching axis again until it does. |
These are the best AT infantry in the game by a long shot. I make 1-2 squads with shreks almost every game, it totally shuts out light vehicles and they remain super useful late game. Late game they counter units like, Su85, Jackson's, su76, any medium tank (less so then the others, but they still hurt them bad); so you know, pretty much everything allies use to threaten your German heavy tanks. |
This is a very well written argument, and as I have been playing a lot more OKW as of late, I'm inclined to agree. There just isn't the same benefit to sacrificing your fuel and ammo anymore. OKW are not in a good place at the moment. |

Admittedly I think that the damage of the ability is fine - but the planes need to be able to be shot down. Also, when shot down, they should not crash into the map, as that could be even a bigger problem. |
I see a lot of players complaining but none of them are providing any evidence to this is the massive game changer they claim it to be. They also seem to be resorting to name calling and insults. If you can't formulate an argument, calling other people dumb doesn't make your claims any better, it makes it look worse. Initially I though this ability needed to be toned down, but you know what, if you a good player, this ability is not a big deal at all. |

The ability is super expensive, so it does need to have a reasonable impact to go with that cost. Currently, even as someone who has played alot of British the impact on OKW forward bases is just to severe. Which by the way, is not to be confused with noobs who put all 4 trucks together then rage quit when they all get bombed by 3-4 various arty strikes and die; if you group up your trucks, that is a strict misplay and you had it coming. Now that being said, personally I feel like OKW HQs should get damage resistance to the bombs, say 20%? Keeping in mind that there are multiple bombs dropped so this should leave them at 30-50% hp after the strike.
Now that being said, has anyone here bothered to try any counter play? Do flakk emplacements help shoot down planes? what about Ostwinds? or even SdKfz 251 (aka flakk track)? If any of these get buffs it could help offset the impact. Sometimes you need to select a commander to counter pick other commanders, the allies have had to do it for a long time, shouldn't be any different for axis. |
On the other hand, 210 MP units with more DPS than IR StG 44 Obers that cost 400 MP + 60 munitions is retarded.
Vacum arguments aren't helping this. There DPS is completely different, partisians have to close a gap, obers get the benefit of range. |
