Thread: Assault Grenadiers1 Nov 2014, 03:35 AM i can deal with them in 1v1 with mechanized commander but i am having trouble in 2v2 vs co-ordinated players 2v2 in moskow outskirts here is what happens I see ass grens approaching and i immediately call a dodge as soon as he sees it he sprints back baiting my dodgy to his team mate's grenadier sq in back which knocks out my dodgy this is first 2-3 mins of game we loose both engagements as we face a mix of ass grens and grens at both sides after the loss. we were never able to push back. after that they build bunkers at fuel and our cutoffs i couldnt deal with bunkers as i had spent all fuel on LT and m20 had none left for zooks . Then I build any manpower heavy units (AT guns, Pack Howi) and save fuel for Ez8. I also like to get grenades when I can. Going airborne and getting BARs leaves me with too little munis. Ez8 wont cut it against OKW if you give him even 1 fuel point and if he gets KT then Ez8s drop like flies i tried i had 4 Ez8s i sent them in 2 groups to surround KT he backed up into a 2 raketns most of Ez8s shots dint penetrate front some even side armor i even called in white phosphrus barrage to get his raketns but that damn thing doesnt kill it just lowers the health finally his KT survived with 80% health and my ez8s were kaput and in this confusion i lost my lone AT gun to obers against ostheer Ez8s are good as i have had fair success with taking down Tigers with 3 Ez8s but against KT or panther im better of with Jacksons. Your opponent can do nothing about this. That's why the sturmtiger had its range slightly reduced so it couldn't wipe a whole blob from the fog. may be do heavy damage with gun barrel damage on medium tanks like P4s shermans and T34s , excluding panther. I know 1 shotting is bad thats why i suggested a long reload time and slow movement so there is time for a flank or a counter play. In warthunder this thing one shots mediums and has a very weak side and rear armor so may be include a very weak side and rear armor that will cause crew hits when ISU takes damage from side that will encourage flanking. Thread: ISU or JT balance suggestion30 Oct 2014, 15:57 PM The latest patch reverted the manual fire mode as devs felt it made ISU useless. here is a suggestion that might help balance, I play warthunder and i got the idea from there, increase the reload time of ISU and JT to 30+ seconds and increase the damage output on medium tanks like it should 1 shot kill medium tanks and do more than 60% damage + some vehicle crits to heavy tanks but will take 30 to 35 secs to reload and make this unit a bit slower than it is so this will give the user an edge when the skrimish starts but unit wont be abusive. I believe in actual WW2 these things took about 30+secs to reload even with a trained crew so its only fair to implement the same. In: Red Army Strategies

Well it also depends on your dctrine choice. yup does work get BAR and skip LT and get to captain, i tried with mechanized commander for that 0CP dodge it did work well to flank early HMG locks, i couldnt save poor dodgy as i wanted to use withdraw and refit. Thread: Help with a good BAR build for 1v130 Oct 2014, 12:15 PM Experts now that BAR is buffed can you guys suggest a good time when to get this upgrade my usual opening is 3RF to LT to M20 after that i vary based on the situation but i usually rush to jackson/sherman most of the times so when do you guys get BARs? Playing as USF: Avoid till you get your first AT. Basically no counter early game, unless you are lucky and catch it while it's relocating. And or there are many buildings around. there is a smoke + bazooka counter but its not as cheap muniton/fuel wise as hoorah atnade but it will get the job done. Wish the zooks and nade unlock costed manpower instead of fuel for US. In: US Forces Strategies
