Well since you were talking about WEAKNESS, i thought you mean infantry armor. So you meant COUNTER UNITS by light vehicles. Well duh.. obviously light vehicles are a threat for anything that is bad at armor piercing.

No, you said Penals dont have anything against suppression. I replied that soviet faction has dedicated abilities against MGs, namely the mortar smoke, while OKW REALLY has nothing. How come you mention penals lack of smokenades as a weakness, yet you never ever mentioned OKWs lack of anti-suppression abilities? the whole faction suffers from that..
Also i dont think buying 2 LeIG to counter MGs can be mentioned on the same page as having a single smoke shell ability for a mortar.
Balance wise its not a weakness, since ALL infantry get suppressed. Its like you would say their advantage is the two leg they have, so they are not stationary unit. Its true, but the same can be said about all infantry units.
And if you want penal exclusive weakness-light armor. They got nothing on it.
Mortars will not arrive before 8th-10th minute because you need that field presence first, then either T2 or 120mm.
How many infantry have light armor except the shocktroops?
Mortars might arrive late, but they arrive with a smoke. LeIG doesnt, and again... volks are base infantry, penals are not.
MG34 arrives around 3rd-4th minute if you tech med truck. You also have Kubel, which is excellent at harassing penals and forces soviet into enduring bleed until 2CP or getting M3, which is hardly a reasonable choice currently and becomes completely useless once kubel is dead.
I was wondering how come Relic decided to lock MG34 behind a tech level, for a faction that is most vulnerable against suppression, while giving USF a t0 OP mortar. Where is the logic behind this?

Suppression is not a weakness... all infantry get suppressed. Penals are no different except they are only lack of direct MG counter tools.
But Penals are not base infantry... conscripts are. Also there are soviet mortars with smoke in case you want to jump those mgs.
Volks however are OKWs main infantry, yet they have no sprint, no smoke grenade, nothing. They dont even have a mortar with smoke. Their MG on the other hand is locked behind teching, while USFs broken piece of sh*t mortar is T0.
I 100% don't agree with that "infantry reformation" of OKW, cos right now there is no logic in infantry system of OKW. For example, I don't need Fallshirms or Obers anymore, because 2 volks+STG performs in AI sooooo good + they have nade and faust and costs lesser. That was not really nerf... just ruining original logicaly clear construct in exchange of ol' good "competitive purpouses"...
I don't know how all other units were nerfed, they perform not really worse, than before, at least when I played as OKW (mostly play as them right now, thanks to LeFH) I didn't see anything really changed. Kubels still good in fast capturing and disrupting backpoints, LeIGs still good countering mortars, HMGs and other static things, Panther still destroy tanks, KT still dominates.
Btw, as I said originaly - Jackson with range + vision combination is fine, same as fine Panther with combination of armor+speed+gunpower. Even more - using Jackson is really way more risky, than Panthers, cos 1 wrong move or wrong pathfinding and you have pretty small chanses of saving Jackson. Panther with it's armor and speed may evade a lot of problems unharmed.

This is not true. Axis units get nerfed as much as allies do.
I think, I starting to see logic behind all this:

Yes, thats why OKW kubel, Volks, Obers, JLi, LeIG, Panther, KT, and even the BaseTrucks have been nerfed. Because everything is OK...
