Nah, I'm still thinking that Pershing should be available from T4 for an upgrade. It would be more reasonable. And yes, it should be able to penetrate Axis heavies as Panther and Tiger should be able to penetrate it too, and have decent damage on infantry. KT should be clearly superior though. |
Panther is NOT OP and Panther is not UP. The Panther cost for Whermact is justifiable because we had a Panther orgy before the fuel price increase. The only thing Panther or German armor needs is adjusting Blitz. Panther for damn sure better be the best medium tank for all the teching, MP and fuel cost, not to mention Panther is a hard counter to medium tanks.

I remember the rage of Axis players against our 2v2 maxim spam (me and my mate). Our answer was simple: does the game allows me to do it? Then it's fair, and more than this it's a hell of a strategy. All the Allied fans keep asking Relic for a Pershing commander
I am not an Allied fan and I'm still thinking USF needs the Pershing. The only problem I see here is that everyone will use only ONE doctrine, the one with the Pershing (at least for the first 2-3 months) and that will kinda kill diversity. An expensive upgrade in T4 in order to unlock it is what it needs so USF player will have to chose eather he wants 1-2 heavies in late game or several mediums and tank destroyers.
I think this is the only way Pershing can make it into COH2 and I really want to see it. |

Sounds like you never played 1v1 before. I admit, Panther WAS a problem for 3v3 and 4v4 games but that was before time. They nurfed it, increase its cost, made it shit. Finaly, they cahnged its stats in order to at least it somewhat deserves the huge amount of resources you invest to build it. And now you are comming and say it's to strong?  |
