I think giving all heavies build timers would be a positive change in this issue.

Kinda silly that we click the largest and most powerful tanks into existence but have to wait for scout cars and kubelwagens to get built

I like calling them in though It would be a fair balance change, but in the absence of that increasing cp by 1 would help.

The issue is when there is a Heavy tank out before say the 1st medium tank of a behind player, it's pretty much a gg button in some cases.

Yes, agree. That's exactly what i mean with tiger. Anyway, ml-20 at vet 1, has something like double reload cause of bugged cooldown, it drops at 1% and it stops. Need a lot of time to take out that 1% cooldown.

Yes that's what I experienced, the visual indicator for barrage seems to be at that 1% for a very long time on the ML20 its highly misleading,

Gren's with 43's can be good, but it's a tough call. G43 blobs may be strong, but .50 cal, vickeers, numerous light vehicles ect. often stymie the impact of grens in the midgame. The Lmg is a good deal better late game when you can choose to engage from long range more easily.

I think you could take this in the direction of Pgrens and make the upgrade a little better but cost more. It's a little risky b/c of how infantry changes can go wild, but G43 grens seem like a rather marginal ability currently due to how many other infantry units such as tommies, rifles, and even cons have more expensive and ultimately better upgrade paths available. It's not a bad ability but it's nothing special right now. Pgrens on the other hand...

I think the goal needs to be to add some risk to the m20 build. It's very cheap and can beat a 222 or infinitely escape it with smoke, decrew and bazooka. Vs OKW it comes very early to push off infantry and the fast luchs can lose to a subsequent stuart. OKW needs the puma, but if they get pushed off the map from the m20 they will be far behind.

I would advocate to do probably one or two of the following
1. Increase m20 fuel cost to 25 or even 30, so early fights impact timing more
Reason: It's clearly worth more than 20 fuel once it upgrades skirts especially with skilled players using it. You are not even usually waiting for fuel in a 3 rifle LT build. The stuart comes quickly after b/c the fuel cost is so low.
Additionally rebuilding it or getting 2 for 40 fuel is not so hard and does not delay other light vehicles significantly. I think reducing the skirts cost could be a fair way to adjust for more fuel cost
2. remove bazooka to improve LV counterplay
3. Increase build time to reduce the resource advantage and map control gained from rushing it.

4. Increase time to upgrade skirts so the m20 cannot dive far when it first jumps on the field, reduces chance of a squadwipe.

Regarding the USF officer I think increasing the MP cost to 300 is fine. But Changing the LT teching to 30 fuel, reducing build time and backloading those costs on LV unlocks(same time and fuel cost to unlock LV) might offset any weakness in USF once this strategy is nerfed. So USF had less resources but more flexibility. A trade I think many players would prefer long term.

Also, light spam doesn't really end well. But a fuel cost increase would discourage the preupgraded m20 being spammed

If you build a 4 or 5 minute m20 you do not yet have weapon racks or grenades unlocked. Later on the upgrade will have an impact but rarely have i seen a player without the munitions to upgrade the first m20.

As for Spamming it, Replacing an m20 or building a second one for 20 fuel does not significantly impact teching speed, you can build 3 m20s for less than 1 stuart. An m5 or 221 is only 15 fuel but are very much inferior to the 20 fuel m20 after that skirts upgrade.
