I believe in miracle again... Relic finally deals with the shreck spam noob tactic... Allies could not do a move with any vehicles cause shrecks kill them in a second... Even IS-2...
Think of that every Volk squad had 2 shrecks and I often saw 5 squads blobing that are 10 shrecks and if there are 4 OKW Players there are up to 40 Shrecks on the field... try to make a move with a tank then...
Maybe OKW is too weak without them but then they need to change other things but I hope we will never see that shreck blob tactics again
I think the solution is getting rid of vet 5 and an increase of vet requirement. I played the competitive mod for the last three days. Its almost impossible to cope with vehicles as OKW. And don;t forget Miragefla had buffed the reketen |

Hope that´s it. OKW nerfs where over the top. Yes, the Schrek problem had to be adressed but the trucks were simply too much.
Screw the trucks. Okw must pay for healing like every other faction. But they should give shrecks back to Volks |

I don't really feel qualified to judge the wisdom of this change. But there was one observation I wanted to make that relates to this change. With every patch lately, two things happen:
1. The factions become homogenous
2. The game gets more similar to CoH1.
I'm a big fan of both mirrored RTS games and the original CoH, but changes like this can't help but make me feel that something unique is slowly being lost.

I have nearly 3000 hours in the game, with much of that played as OKW. Everybody knows that allied tanks arrive sooner than OKW tanks, and, that OKW cannot build fuel points. Everybody knows that the Faust has about half the range of the Shrek. Removing the shrek means the Volks now have to get much, much closer than before, and, also has to expend munitions every time it uses the Faust, which is problematic as well, since OKW cannot build munition points either. Everyone also agrees that the Rakwerfer is a lousy substitute for a PAK. What this new change means is: Any Brit who rushes to produce an early Centaur could very well win the game in the first few minutes. The Rakwerfer needs 5 or 6 shots to kill a Centaur, yet it will only get 2 shots away before it gets creamed. The Volks will never get close enough to launch a Faust since the Centaur will eat them alive.... they will likely never get close enough to the Centaur to even launch a Faust. The other OKW armor and/or armor killers will not yet have arrived. I have played hundreds of games as OKW, and the only thing I struggle with and absolutely fear is an early Centaur. But with a Rakwerfer + a few Shreks, it was a foe that I could deal with. Without a Shrek... the early Centaur becomes nearly impossible to kill. This is a game changer.

A lot of overreactions by people, and surprisingly a lot of people complaining about the ProKW changes even though they don't play ProKW much.
The balance preview changes look really good on paper, and i'm saying that as someone who mainly plays ProKW and the British Army. I've personally always wanted panzerfausts on Volksgrenadiers since forever, and now it might actually happen. People seem to forget that Raketens can't shoot very fast and fast mobile vehicles actually hardcounter it pretty hard; right now you can literally drive any kind of vehicle past a raketen(doesn't fire fast enough) and a few volks and get your vehicle out alive. If these new changes do go live, suddenly ProKW will have a way to severely slow down/snare light/medium vehicles, which the Raketen can fire at afterwards.
Let's not forget about the people who crutch on panzershreks to win their games though, i'm sure they'll be devastated and I feel sorry for them
Once panzershreks are removed, we can finally see who the good ProKW players are and we'll see players who crutch on them fall a few hundred places on the leaderboard.
Well why do we need to copy from vCoH? Can't we think of new shit? Relic tried to copy vCoH and they come up with units spawning from buildings. These are two different games
