Lmg34, Shrecks, KT, JLIs, Fallshirms, Obers, volks, sturmpios, raketenes (can you believe it?!?), kubel, panzerfusiliers, sdkfz AA, Puma, wurframen, IR halftruck (again, can you believe it?!?), ISG, Jagdpanzer (even now, there is a thread about "vehicle camo abilities being stupid" and the prior target it's no doubt the jagdpanzer), Panzer 2, T4 because of the flack gun. And I'm not sure I mentioned all of them.
The complaints were mostly on shreck blobs and lmg obers. I am sure there were complaints about the other stuff you mentioned, but the main problem was those units. If you read the intro to March 31 patch by by Corp.Shephard ( http://www.coh2.org/news/32788/march-31st-patch) you will realize that OKW was not nerfed to the ground.
The problem I think is that a lot of OKW players had a high percentage coz of the meta that existed before the patch and thus they were playing against better players. Now they are finding it harder to win, I mean i have played 8 OKW games and I won seven doing the same thing. |
No matter how many times we will have this thread it will still not equal the number of whining threads related to OKW's every single unit. So pudding off.
Really? There are a lot of whining threads about Demos and other allied stuff. I don't think people whine about OKW stuff anymore after the Obers issue was addressed |

Just wiped a squad (may have had vet too) essentially for free.

With Ostheer/OKW the munition sinks you have are basically 100% required. You have to get medics, you will have to make a large amount of use of grenades, you need to have shreks, you need to give your Obers LMG34's. Ostheer relies on munitions to effectively operate at all stages of of the game. The reason the fuel to muni conversion is so powerful is it takes away one of Ost's biggest limiters.

In 1v1, as Ost i rarely see demos, just as i rarely see plane crashes, but that doesn't mean its not poorly designed.
That is what I have been telling too, nein? That I, as a player who used demos heavily, would almost never use demos vs OH in 1 v 1. You rarely see demos as OH,but I assume you see more demos when you play as OKW? |

All the upgrades you mention require a building or tech. Soviets can build infantry from T0 and plant demos with no building or tech upgrades whatsoever so don't make this a sov vs ost teching debate as that is not the issue.
Most Okw players opt for flak halftrack since the last patch, so blobs are nowhere near as prolific as they once were. Also Obers and shreck blobs have also been nerfed, so why hasn't the counter..
I haven't asked for the demo to be nerfed, rather that some kind of cost / vet be attached to its use.
Soviets are without doubt the strongest faction and as such can endure some small nerfs.
