Thread: What should Relic do to increase allies-players?18 Aug 2014, 17:39 PM It seems to me people play Axis because Axis have the best vehicles of the game, and they also are the best at playing defensive. They have super weapons such as Pak43, KT, Tiger, Jadgtiger, Elefant, and Falls and Sturms. They also need more strategy than spamming conscripts or rifles like the Allies. It's just more fun to play as an "elite" faction. In: COH2 Gameplay

Why the heck would I give Relic another cent, given that they still haven't fixed War Spoils. I don't think I've been able to use them (nor even been compelled to even try) in a game. Should be replaced by the ability for infantry units to ride on tanks, with an accuracy penalty to prevent kangaroo syndrome and a chance for models to be killed if the tank is hit by AT fire or runs over a mine. this would really fit more into the mobile/utility aspect of that commander. I definitely agree with all your statements. I don't like Ass. Grens, but at least some find uses for them. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: WC51 Dodge vs M20 Utility Car?4 Aug 2014, 00:34 AM I have the US Mechanized Commander, and I really like the WC51 Dodge. It is fielded very early, and it has decent speed and firepower. However in medium game I don't know whether I should make WC51's or the M20 Utility Car. The M20 has armor upgrades and better abilities (AT mines, Bazooka Squad), however it has a higher cost. Which light vehicle do you guys prefer for the US? Thanks! In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Assault Engineers and Vehicle Crews are Useless4 Aug 2014, 00:26 AM I agree that AE's can do damage, it's mainly the fact that they can't take any hits! Unless you are right on top of a unit, AE's fall like flies. Vehicle Crew's armor is a joke, their entire squad dies within 2-3 seconds if left unattended outside of a vehicle. I would like to see them either become deadlier at close range, or given a large HP upgrade. I've lost many VC's because I forget about them for several seconds and they are dead before I can get them back in their vehicles I feel they are really just underperforming completely. Just because the US has a good, mobile AT platform, doesn't mean adding a Pershing is going to make them unbeatable. Their AT is only as strong as their opponents allow it to be. The addition of a Pershing will grant some longevity to their frontline. ^ This. USF gets boring after a while, it is only fun for so long to use the same strategies over and over again. Adding a Pershing will not make US invincible, nor will it ruin the balance. USF needs a heavy breakthrough unit, Pershing fits that roll well! In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Pathfinders or riflemen?3 Aug 2014, 06:26 AM My thoughts are Riflemen are better overall, but Pathfinders are good for scouting and taking points behind enemy lines. I use them in the same way I use Jaeger Light Infantry, although I find both units unnecessary. Since Riflemen can use grenades and can upgrade weapons, they seem a much better choice to me. Thread: Mapping Ideas & Sharing3 Aug 2014, 06:12 AM Sorry for the very late reply, I made a noobie mistake on the forum and I wasnt getting notifications . Thanks a lot for the replies though, I will defnitely check out that map! I also will send you a Steam message if I ever need help with map making. Someday I am definitely going to make my own map, I'm sure those videos will prove invaluable. The thing that draws me is all of the possibilities, no 2 maps are alike.
