Well, a simple site internal settings menu might be nice. For refresh time, size, etc.
And no, i really don't want anything new, just more features.

I play 2vs2 with a buddy of mine. Me as Soviets, he as USF. I bring Terror Tactics, Shock Rifle and Armored Assault. He usually takes Calliope now, but has the rest as well. If he goes Callis anyways, then you could go T2>T3, get a fast T70, or some SU76, to support a Stuart / Rifle push even further, then wait for Callins - waste your fuel on further units of course, and keep the agression up. He can be your speaheard till late game, then you switch more or less. At the switching point his job is attrition and (anti-) infantry dominance. But this kind of slow bee swarm depends a lot on the map, and is usually more suited for Axis. Depends anyways, mainly on your playstyles. Around mid- / lategame you certainly have the better staying power as soviet with the mentioned doctrines, so make use of it. You can of course also split, and you should, but i guess that's where your trouble starts: teamplay. Try watching the mini- / tactical map more often, and get a feel for the situation, position your stuff slightly closer - don't do full splits across the map - so you may intercept enemies if your mate ends up in a 1v2 scenario. And last but not least: proper pinging. Just a few random thoughts. I would need to see a replay to have a better idea on why it goes downhill. In: Strategy Desk |

So, your improvement is from actual ram frequency AND CPU OC? I get the feeling it comes from your heavy CPU OC. Would you mind comparing? |

Would this work in CoH1 ? COH1 also has a stretched menu. COH2 scales properly and looks like this: red lines would be the end of a 16:9 res (approx) In RTS it's a disadvantage IMHO. You got way too much vertical movement, and i.e. quite an annoying travel distance to minimap and screen borders, etc. |

CieZ, i always like your posts, but this is a part where we have to heavily disagree i guess. Let me elaborate. I think the community can do a good job of self-policing. Well, how do they call those again... qualifiers? Lower divisions? So why do they have the same price money? Right, they usually don't, except in COH2 Just to give a few NA players an easier time winning the same amount of money due plain lack of competition? Sounds like a lot of marketing money down the drain to me, even followed by a bunch of rather boring games. If someone plays hours and hours to go through a tourney, then directly signs up for another one, and even wins it, then he deserves it, not? Isn't it actually easier to get up in the morning, than playing till the dawn of next day? Let's be real here, nothing is gonna change for the broader audience, that's a really bad excuse. The same people will make it to the final spots, excluding the EU guys now, with just way less competition, which results in worse games overall. And that doesn't even include the issue of "outside timezones", they basically - excuse my language - piss on. Again: yay asian / eastern market being forced to play at ~4am - great idea, and really fair, right? I want to see "minor leagues" and divisions as well, but creating arbitrary rules based on citizenship is absolutely... Salt aside, i hope you get my point. In: Lobby |

I guess NA can enjoy without the fear of EU now But seriously:What if someone from the US prefers an early morning game? Or some EU player prefers late night gaming? And this is even worse for those outside of NA / EU timezone. Congratulations to all geographical asian players, who may start the NA cup at 4 am in the morning. These rules are certainly fun fun fun In: Lobby |

The 21:9 FOV isn't disabled, and everything ingame works properly. Cut scenes and main menus are forced 16:9 though. Maybe something system related on your end? |

So, just drag out the game and 1 click win? Pre-nerf scavenge arty comes to mind here. In case nobody remembers: cause a full retreat on some USF player, then wipe his troops and complete base - or just the latter at any time, whatever floats your boat. Though chaining these mini-nukes in large team games would be fun fun fun (not) In: COH2 Balance |
