And is yet another example of poor game design as a result...
How is that poor game design?
You would prefer a completely mirrored faction design? Sounds boring to me.

Thread: Panzer II Luchs17 Dec 2014, 16:36 PM
... So first it was 30-40 in 6 minutes, then 20-40 in 10, now it's 40 in 5-10. Make up your mind I just had a Luchs, and sadly MM gave me a newbie bash. And in rougly 5,5 minutes of base sieging it obtained 29 kills. I've had more before, it's possible, but that's the deal of a light AI vehicle - it can also backfire quickly if the enemy counters it properly. As Heartless already mentioned the T70 can be also a serious threat, and let's not forget about Recon mode. And by the time the Luchs hits the field, you already will have gathered approx 200 fuel. Even if you exclude some upgrade fuel, it's pretty easy to yield a medium tank at the same time, which will wreck the cute little AI cat rather quickly. Would be nice to have some super slight HP buff for the T70, so it doesn't die to two PAK40 shots, but that's it pretty much (in my opinion). Edit & P.S.: if a Luchs wipes your Captain or Zook squad before they can shoot, then you're doing something wrong. In: COH2 Balance |

R4 - only KA played with Ostheer? That's like building KV1s, right? ...I would love to see a system where there could be blind picking happening simultaneously... I kinda doubt that would help OST in any way. People would still pick OKW over them, for good reasons (as Ciez mentioned). |

As discussed in other topics: nerf long range on Schrecks, so one can kite properly, buff the Raketen, and kinda rethink PGrens slightly. OKW players might also think about getting some JP again. The Schreckblob is another issue anyways, even with current heavy tank meta. Just some "idea". In: COH2 Gameplay |

Should have phrased it better, because that was my actual question. I'm not sure if those other callins need limitation or not. T34/85 & E8 in particular can be quite nasty, not as much as the big 6 of course. I would like to see stock armor getting used more as well. I think(!) if there's more mediums around, we might actually see some T34s again,... or SU76, Stug, and so on. Basic AT options also become more viable, including the USF AT. It also might switch the overall late game meta away from "get ze heavy tanks111!!!". And ammo heavy builds might also become more viable again. (just some thoughts) In: COH2 Gameplay |

that statement made zero sense, the su85 and panther are to completely different vehicles, and the panther is not badvs infantry with its 3 mgs. It isn't bad, but not great either, especially if you consider the costs of it. And let's not forget about ATs. Would you rather engage 2-3 Zis with a Panther, or some (King-) Tiger? OPs idea is to change the whole "let's get heavy tanks" meta, so imagine the gameplay more COH1'ish. Not saying it's the super awesome solution, but keeping an open mind is a start. Question is: how would you limit stuff like E8s, KV1s, etc.? In: COH2 Gameplay |

Panthers aren't the answer to ATs & infantry. One could say it the other way around "all a soviet has to do is get SU85", yeah... nope. In: COH2 Gameplay |

What about this: adjust the popcap more accordingly for ALL factions. Hm, then we sadly still have the USF "what's a popcap" strategy. :/ In: COH2 Gameplay |
