Thread: Su85 vs new SU7618 Jun 2015, 08:41 AM I know it's theorycrafting but i want to know when to use the Su85 over the new Su76. They both have the same penetration value now but the Su76 is significant cheaper. At zero vet the SU85 causes more dmg, but i think at vet 3 the different should no longer be so much. (hope someone knows the numbers with vet) So why not make the SU76 and get an anti Infantry Barrage and for the cost nearly the same AT capability? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: prioritise vehicles7 Apr 2015, 08:42 AM If you use an abilitie like TWP or the artellerie barrage with the zis gun the prioritise vehicle doesnt work anymore. You have to enable it again by clicking the button 2 times. So be aware, that your at guns may shoot on infantry if you use an ability. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Garrisoned buildings in the FOW6 Apr 2015, 09:19 AM If you select an Infantry and rightclick on a building it will light up white if its empty and red if its garrisoned. This also works in the FOW, so you are save if you want to check if this stupid maxim/MG42 is still in this building without the danger of your infantry get supressed. As long as its consistant DPS. Its a Tank Destroyer. It has one single job. It can do nothing else and its an Apex unit. It should almost always do SOME damage to tanks. Otherwise how is it going to get to Vet to begin with? There is no damage on deflect after all. Hell even if they added damage on deflect to it... dont forget the shock value. Its often better to just make one shot and reverse. Than shoot all the time. You often can scare away german tanks if you hit them with 240 dmg. The jakson is more a poke units than a fighter. It can repair itself and makes big dmg in a short time. I think verfing its dmg and buffing its pen would nerf the unit not buff it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: M36- badly underpowered?6 Dec 2014, 09:16 AM Given that a SU-85 and a Jackson will always want to fight on max range, i dont understand why you think the SU-85 with 19 dps at 60 range has more dps than the jackson with 23? Even at 50 range the Jackson has more dps than the SU-85. Only if you let them come near to 35 range the SU-85 will have more DPS than the Jackson. Only with 160 pen at max range to 180 pen the Jackson is 20 pen worse than the SU-85. But you can spend some Munition. Given the fact you can get very good AI units in the same tier and the turret of the Jackson i would say Jackson > SU-85. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Let's talk Soviet faction.20 Sep 2014, 10:00 AM Dont forget about the Soviet Mortar and the ZIS gun. Just for the lols if you want to kill a T70 with the PAK it has to stand around 3 sec in the arc. If you want to kill the luchs with a ZIS it has to stand around 9 sec in its arc. Assuming every shot hits the target Compare the Mortars you get a 7.5 reloud to a 2.4 reloud. I know Soviet support weapons are more durable but does it realy need such a difference in the dmg to compensate? In: COH2 Balance

It is simply not a really good way to get rid of the demos. Your unit has to get directly above them to defuse. The second they start defusing the demo can't be triggered anymore, but if your opposing player is carefully watching he can trigger right before, wiping an upgraded squad. thx MilkaCow didnt know you cant trigger the demo if you started to defuse it. And 2 bazooka (120 ammo and 15 fuel) cannot be a solution for a t0 unit that cost 0 fuel! Bazookas deal 80 dmg against a Kübel with 190 HP, so you need 3 Bazookas to kill it. In: COH2 Balance
