I am also displeased by the fact that Relic is not focusing on fixing bugs (like game freezing and sooo many others) but rather on creating new features in order to make the game more commercial.
My previous post adresses your concern too.

Useless rant...
"why introducing a new patch will always create another problem?"
Useless rant...
A bit of reading for you

Maybe you'll understand it has nothing to do with Relic, but yay whatever, you won't even take the time to read that link. Still i can agree that some bugs have been there for a long time, yet you blame the wrong people. |
Honestly, CoH franchise is all about combined arms tactics and using cover. So yes, blobbing infantry goes against that philosophy, but having all armor being infantry killers would just exterminate the combined arms part. And i'm not even sure it would stop blobbing either.
At most tweaking Tank Destroyers hull mg to at least be able to defend themselves (which would be historically correct i guess), but not being able to fight toe to toe with 1-2 squads of infantry (like medium tanks are able to).
Oh and on the subject of Tank destroyers, Elefant need his priorities reworked, it constantly want to target infantry even with armor sitting nearby. And i think it would be rather good to have a "halt fire on infantry" toggle option for those kind of units. Having both option to halt fire completely, and halt fire on infantry only would go a long way on improving microing TDs, at least imo. |
LMG34 is a long range weapon, StG44 a short range one.
DPS of the whole squad in 5 range steps:
-- 00 -- 05 -- 10 -- 15 -- 20 -- 25 -- 30 -- 35 -- 40
33.65 32.87 32.14 31.43 30.71 29.96 28.98 27.99 LMG34 + 3 * Kar98k
64.24 62.99 54.23 36.92 29.44 24.20 19.04 14.34 2* StG44 + 2 * Kar98k
The StG44 does not ignore cover, but it has far better performance against yellow, green and garrison cover.
Thanks, could you also give the accuracy numbers on the move / static ? Or give a link to a place where those numbers are available, it would be cool |
At shadow get your facts straight , nearly every top player uses this doc over rifle doc - why is that ? because it boosts the US early even more so .
Just ignore him, everyone has to l2p with that kind of guy. |
As far as i know, most of the German camos were put on in the factories and readjusted by the soldiers when necessary.
The camos shown in the photos have indeed been restored to the original state, so that they are as authentic as possible.
Many of the tanks and vehicles shown here have seen combat in the western front, so there are no "winter-like" camos shown.
As far as COH2 is concerned, i think Relic's aim wasn't to be historically accurate, but simply to include as many camos as possible to maximize profit. ;-)
Thanks for the update and the new batch of articles |
Admitting you love P2W is not good lol..........
I thought that those 2 doctrines are not P2W anymore since they were both nerfed. Anyway, would like to hear people's thought about these 2 after a week of them being free to use.
OT: i have no clue what the next ones will be, probably Oberkommando and USF. |
Maybe Relic should better focus on improving balance especially in team games instead of stupid sounds? Who the hell doesn't listen to music while playing?

Here, have a cookie while you read this. By the way, anyone who wonders how it is actually done behind the scene should take a read at this fine piece of writing
PS: By the way, the essay was written years ago, for a MMORPG board (i remember it was WoW, or it might be SWTOR, whatever). Just replace MMORPG with any kind of game, it still works |
Hello, thanks again for the photos, this time i do have a question: are the camos visible in your photos actual restored ones ? Or are these different from the ones used at the time ? I mean, depending on the field of operations, camos were differently applied and had different colors. I kinda felt the stock colors for Oberkommando and stock Wehrmacht into the game felt a little bit too "deserty" (read: beige) and did not reflect real camos used in the Eastern and Western fronts.
I might be wrong though, so maybe the museum had a little explanation on the topic. Also i thought the factory colors were the feldgrau (the green-gray also used for infantry uniforms), but i don't know if camos were applied on the field, varied on a day to day basis (depending on the weather, and special conditions of the ground / vegetation), or were kinda definitive once applied.
I know in historical re-colored documents, Panzers in general look rather khaki or even green, and i would like to know if it was assumptions made by the technicians who recolored them. |
Voted a lot at once, and 4. As it has been said, it however depends on the unit in question. Some tanks are not spammable in huge numbers, i would say 3 consecutive is a spam. And about infantry, definitely 4+ consecutively. |
