As a rule of thumb these days I assume that I'll be to be forced to retreat a pair 2-3 times before enough vet is attained to go toe-to-toe with a pair of vet II+ mainline lmg squads. And that's from fighting in light cover! Granted this change might make them rather obnoxious in 1v1s but we'll see. Obers should be moved to the Command HQ and require 1 deployed truck, but the LMG34 and IR STGS would be locked behind the Schwerer Panzer HQ. This change would give OKW more options for the mid game. In: COH2 Balance

(Elite Troops, Jaeger Infantry, and lighting war) here's my suggestion: G43s for Grenadiers squad size increased from 4 to 5 squad gains 2 g43 rifles upgrade cost increased from 45 to 60 G43s for Panzer Grenadiers squad size increased from 4 to 5 squad gains 3 g43s rifles upgrade cost increased from 60 to 80 G43s for Stormtroopers squad size increased from 4 to 5 squad gains 3 g43s rifles upgrade cost increased from 60 to 80 In: COH2 Balance

They provide some nice anti-tank options that OKW doesn't have and they're doctrinal. I don't like removing the panzershrecks and giving them to Obers, since Obers come out too late and the panzershrecks are quite useful in the early-mid game. because its too easy for people to make cheap Panzerschreck blobs that easily delete any allied armor What if Obers were changed to be available from the command HQ? they would require 1 deployed truck and LMG34 and IR stg are were locked behind Schwerer Panzer HQ but Panzerschrecks were available for them immediately like Pgrens. would that be a fair compromise In: COH2 Balance
