So: Tell us which is the szenario where you can show the performanche from guards, where we can see how good they are. What are the condition...tell it pls with all details. Here's a clip from a game I had yesterday. It took the same time for 2 Guards squads to take out half of Pz.IV HP as for AT gun to take out other half. So, basically, one Guards squad's PTRSes have same DPS as half of AT gun. Because he is fully aware of how OP that button is. That is why he uses it to attack move. I also like the fact that Button can be countered by cheaper smoke ability on tanks. In: COH2 Balance

So, let me summarize your points on this thread according to scenario provided: - Tank was damaged, because grenades doesn't do engine damage on full HP tank.l Probably it was shot by Guards' PTRS a few times with couple of penetrating shots - There was source of vehicle snare, probably a Conscripts squad, so we're in scenario of Tank vs combination of units on opposing side - Tank didn't pulled out in time, Cons managed to get close (oorah?) and throw AT grenade, let's assume it was driven into Button range and didn't manage to get out of it Now here's it getting weird: - Guards were able to chase down Tank and remove rest of its HP with PTRS, although they don't fire on the move and have to be static for full second to make a shot Therefore, we have to nerf Guards reinforcement cost. Am I correct in replaying scenario you've provided? In: COH2 Balance

Zooks and PSchrek have high pen, burst damage and much better aim time. PTRS have low burst damage - they take out tank's health chip by chip. You can lose your tank to PTRS in 2 cases: - it already was badly damaged - you've parked it in PTRS range of fire for 2 minutes In: COH2 Balance

I gave both sides heavy cover. The Obersoldaten won in every test. No vet vs no vet? In: COH2 Balance

This is why ullumulu "tests" are 100% valid. Also guards: Cost more. Are doctrinal. Have more expensive AI upgrade. More expensive unit beats less expensive unit. More shocking news at 11. I'd like to point out that vet 3 Guards will beat vet 5 Falls most of the time even without DP-28 upgrade. Still I don't think that provided "proof" is not enough evidence to call for Guards nerf as I think it is not valid to compare Guards to Falls in terms of direct combat efficency. In: COH2 Balance

Players have plainty of time to remove their units from the area before the first shell land. No smoke and adding a sound effect would make it more like regular onfield artillery. Being on recieving end of Stuka Dive Bomb have taught me that abilites with wipe potential without red smoke is complete bullshit and their existence makes this game only worse. BUT! I'm always up for making other side taste their own medicine, so I agree with your suggestion about removing red smoke and making this game shittier. The ends justifies the means. In: COH2 Balance
