You might get a stroke now, but I'm better then you in your own faction of choice and I'm calling things for how they are. If opponent gets enough time to get all of your army off the field and destroy trucks by your own base sector, you should suck less, blob less and consider putting some mines around your vulnerable spots. If you still suck hard enough and are losing trucks despite that, put them in the base if you can't use and defend them properly. In: COH2 Balance

So is COH2 played competitively in any eSport? Player's skill includes his ability to forsee outcomes of RNG and probability of these outcomes and use that information to turn engagements into his favor while making decisions. It is risk management. Sometimes you can hear something like "I've lost to RNG". Most of the time it is "I've lost because I've took too much risk and it didn't payed off". You can't use shocks on the defense from cover, you need to charge with them. ALWAYS. It is only niche they cover, of course they are better than PGrens in that particular function. But this doesn't translate into "shocks are better than pgrens". If unit X can 1v1 unit Y doesn't makes statement "X is better than Y" true. That's debatable. Just because PGrens can be also used defensively I'd rate them higher than Shocks too despite the fact that Shocks can 1v1 them. I'm with roll0 on that. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Strongest Faction?9 Jun 2018, 15:10 PM This question is tricky because OP taking into account how easy it is to play given faction. I'd say that Wehrmacht is the strongest if you manage to play it perfectly, but it is very error prone. But if you throw in some mistakes in your play I'd say Soviets is the strongest, because they are very forgiving. Other factions are too crippled by absence of certain tools in their disposal. Often it is easy to play against them utilizing their weak sides (which is also very map dependent). First thing that comes into mind is disparity in anti-garrison tools and availablilty of indirect fire options in early-to-mid stages of game. In: COH2 Gameplay

That's the reason why 4v4 and this DoTA and LoL shit is so popular For some reason I can't stand playing anything but 1v1 in DoW2, but in CoH2 I have almost no interest in 1v1 and play mostly 4v4. Team game modes in DoW2 feels like a mess instead of clean and nice tactical approach of 1v1. In CoH2 1v1 on the other hand feels... I don't know... a little empty? Like it isn't a war.
