Then At guns got buffed, the 85 got repeated nerfs, german tanks got their turbo drives back and the OKW happened. Su-85 is a joke now. Su-76 was always a joke. Katty re-nerfed. Why bother? It's not really about your status as a glass cannon that makes units like the puma good. It's all about your range, maneuverability and your use of good micro. Panther is the fastest medium tank. It's harder to do than with a puma, but just like a puma you can kite smaller tanks all day. Difference is that the panther won't instantly evaporate if it ends up in range for return fire. Every strength the Puma has the Panther also has. You pay the extra to remove the chance of it exploding to a stiff breeze, much higher pen and more damage per shot. In: COH2 Balance

It's already a strong tank if you don't confuse it with an IS-2 and use it like a mong (aka 90% of panthers used in game). Wehr needs to have same stats as OKW and it's fine. In: COH2 Balance

You exit your 2 tanks and you call 2 more call-in rifleman or you reinforce 3 squads then you get back in the tanks,,, you may also get one more call in tanks... you have virtually no pop cap as US. Dude. I get it. I know exactly how it works, I'm not a moron. I also know it has zero impact on any of my games because I so rarely hit pop cap and almost never have the float while at pop cap to make more units. Unless the game is already won, anyway. Some of us fight with our troops. (As it happens the pop cap for the USF maxes out somewhere around ~280 if you have nothing but vehicle crews standing next to empty tanks) In: COH2 Balance

I would prefer more options and thus the Tier needs to be buffed for both. It´s not just about call ins being more affordable, it´s the specific units not fulfilling their role. Panthers, both SU's, and Brummbarrs are all a little lackluster as units, but only compared to the current heavy tanks. They still serve a purpose. And neither T4 can be said to be outright lacking. Bringing the panther for Ost in line with the OKW one, making the SU-76 even half as useful as the Scott, finding a way to ungimp the -85, giving the Brummbarr any reason to exist. These things will all polish off their respective tiers. None of these things will make T4 attractive in most 1v1 games. Nothing short of making T4 too good will make T4 attractive in most 1v1 games. T4 for both armies is geared with all the units that can only really shine in 2v2 and up most of the time. Su's need more densely packed maps to avoid being horribly out-maneuvered, rocket arty needs dense targets, Brummbarrs/Su-76's need a point. Oddly enough the unit to come out best in the T4 line up for 1v1 play is the Panther, but even it is arguably less useful in a 1v1 scenario than a pair of PzIV arriving earlier. T4 is just a larger game thing for the Soviets and Ost. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Kubelwagon Idea's and Possible Improvements31 Jul 2014, 19:54 PM Kubel is fine as is. Light vehicle for early game map control which you can lose eventually and salvage for a bit of fuel. Lower pop cap than the same cost Volksgren squad so your income takes a smaller hit to offset the loss of your kubel at a later date. In: COH2 Balance
