Hey there,

CoH2 is the most demanding/poorly-optimized game that I own. I need a new GPU but no idea what to get.

If you could take a minute to reply I'd really appreciate it.

I read some reviews/benchmarks for CoH2 but they were outdated, they certainly won't include relevant info from the last few patches performance wise - Plus, some say CoH2 favors nvidia cards. I don't know about that.

So, let's ask the community themselves.

If you'd like to, please post:

1. Your PC specs.

Here are mine: CPU i5 3570k (stock 3.4ghz, OC up to 4.2ghz) + 240gb SSD + 16gb DDR3

2. Do you run the game at 1080p ? Medium? High? Highest settings?

3. Any issues? Can it handle 2v2/3v3/4v4?

I'd be really thankful for any helpful replies guys.

4v4s will always come down to the team that coordinates best together. Achieving good balance in 1v1 will cascade into team games. If you are getting beaten by players who think its a good idea to spam the same unit over and over again (especially a support unit such as a stuka zu fuss) that comes down more to you and your teams inability to exploit his poor unit comp.

Hell, the second worst thing is the upgrades can only be purchased in HQ sector.

But even that idea is 1000x times better than weapon racks placed at the corner of the map.

I think one way to do this is the Ambulance can be upgraded to carry the weapons so when you deploy it, you can buy right off it. Stick the truck next to Major and you're set. Paper thin armour and slow movement compensates for this.
