The American faction vehicle crew, decrew pop exploit, is apparently a strategy according to Relic. In some ways they agreed this is not functioning correctly by removing crews on some vehicles (Pershing, Calliope). Vehicle crews are, in my opinion not for COH2. One last gripe, the T button is used as the exit button, but is also the retreat button. Lost games because of this.
I think that the tank swarm mechanic could have a place, but it should be a more of a soviet thing.
Yeah, that retreat/abandon dual function is *really* *really* stupid. God help you if you accidentally catch one of your vehicle crew when you were boxing up a rifle for a retreat. Or if you accidentally catch the Sherman when you were trying to retreat an accompanying rifle out of suppression. |
I use churchills from time to time. I use them to screen for fireflies when I'm not confident that I can manage a successful flank. Usually on narrow corridor map, especially against elephants, J-tigers, and King Tigers. I don't usually use AVREs or Crocs in that situation, because my partner and I try to knock out forward bases with a combined Calliope and Air Superiority.
Comet is almost always the superior choice, but the Churchill does have a viable niche IMO. |

As the topic said, what is the point of this bulletin? The JT is not some sort of MP cheap infantry like ostruppen which indeed need the more frequent call-in. It is a 720 mp 280 fuel unit, I can't imagine who would actually benefit from it other than players who had a tons of resources from good play through a whole game yet throws his JT like rubbish, which is clearly self conflicting.
Is relic drunk when design this bulletin?

This is true, but be careful going too far with that attitude. In 4v4s a bad plan that's well-coordinated will often beat a disorganized good one. In the pubs that means adapting your play to what you're seeing from your teammates and maintaining yourself in a position where you can easily support them.

The Japanese would fit in this game just fine. Good agressive early infantry, supported by a t-70 (the ha-go) eventually leading to thr chi-nu, an m4c rough equvalent. The type 4 70 mm anti-tank rocket could be a rough raketenwerfer equivalent, and the ho-ni 2 would do fine as a mobile artillery piece.
The only difficultly is giving them a heavy TD. Frankly, I think that the ho-ni 3 would be a fine SU-85 analogue, but a reusable AT strafe would work okay too (so long as a shoot down hurt as much as losing an su-85 or so). |
5 cp trench ace, reichspioneer have the ability to build trenches that have a remote mg42 installed 360 no scope, similar to hetzer, 25 cps landkreuze p1500 with smines (map dependant) size of the station bldng in ettelbruck, , sun ray 12 cps for 50 seconds get the power of the sun to burn those emplacements, constant ray, duration is 60 seconds more than brace. 13 cps jet covers entire map, flies to high that no AA is enough to kill it, selfs spot and wrecks everything. For the lulz bring the donkey with two shreks in the back Kappa
4 cp Goliath ace. Invisible unit capable of squishing infantry and one-shoting base structures.
8 cp v-2 ace. Gives full map vision, causes 5 no warning v2 explosions anywhere on map.
