Thread: Sturmtiger post changes28 Jan 2015, 08:21 AM Most maps have plenty of places with sight blockers - you just need to use something as bait. The change made it way more reliable if you can be bothered with sneaky positioning. In 4v4 (everybody blobs) it can kinda pay its way without firing. You just patrol around the front lines and everything retreats when it sees you. Last time I only fired twice in the whole game... the constant threat of a loaded sturmtiger seems more intimidating than the occasional support weapon wipe. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Switchable AP/HE shells for the IS-2 and Tiger24 Jan 2015, 13:44 PM It was mostly the range that made the ISU too much though. Tiger has short range so it seems ok to be powerful. No idea about the IS2 range but it never hits anything anyway, so.... Still, probably everyone would be happy to have more tactical choices in the game. In: COH2 Balance

Although it's funny that they benchmarked CPUs on highest graphics settings, using a gtx690 which is not really sufficient for running those settings. Missed opportunity. #FrenchLogic In: Lobby
Thread: COH2 System Performance Guide20 Jan 2015, 13:01 PM If somebody cares about Coh2 performance it's better to look at Coh2 benchmarks: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU14/857 Different architectures suit different engines, and it'd be a mistake to extrapolate UE3 performance (for example) and expect the same results in Coh2. The performance difference is big enough that you're actually getting better power efficiency from AMD's 3 year old GCN architecture than you are with NV's 770/780. Coh2 is probably still in the minority, but it's worth keeping in mind. (Oh and 970/980 does extremely well as seen in the higher res benchmarks) In: Lobby

Eventually it might get knocked out, but it's bought so much time and resources that it's not really a big deal. Even more so with the healing truck - allies go all in and knock it out late game? 40 fuel and a bunch of MP you're already floating, yawn . In: COH2 Balance
