I know this doesn't help, but I'm waiting that tiny bit longer for more monitors to release at 3840x2160. Standard aspect ratio with more pixels, win win. |

Heh I have so much delay playing online that I'm willing to live with the additional 1-16ms if it makes the game silky smooth.
Definitely for something with aiming in a 3d space though, it's easier to feel such a small delay even if you wouldn't notice when watching. |

Yeah I think for a strategy game the vsync rate without stutter is most people's target.
I'll turn it off for battlefield and OC the monitor, but that's because it makes aiming easy. 60fps capped is not really a problem in this genre, IMO of course. Maybe I'm not so competitive. |

No performance issues here on a 7970, which is far older than the game.
Still, have to acknowledge that the majority of the market is using laptops and non-gaming setups. It's a mistake not to cater to them.
Now... if we're talking lag(!!!), disconnects, stability, bugs, etc etc. Then yes. Total disaster. |

Yeah you have to watch the replay OP because there are lots of ways to get sight, such as crawlers, pathfinders, an airstrike leaving the map etc. Setting up mines, you can be observed without noticing. |

I usually alt-tab out when the game freezes and the internet is working fine (and fast). I've never seen the reconnect feature ever do anything ever. Once the yellow text comes up the first time that's it, in my experience.
Response time seems worse than launch as well. It's got to the point where the last opportunity to dodge a grenade is the verbal warning before the grenade is thrown, even then it's really sketchy since you're relying on everything working 100%.
I still play this game way more than anything else, but between this and matchmaking my usual mental state when loading the game is mild irritation. |

I like drinking beer with coh2, or eating lunch/dinner. Team games better because no capping except after battle. |
