Thread: Returning player: which army to play?9 Aug 2014, 15:42 PM Don't play ostheer plz.Most boring faction ever.1 infantry unit.1 late game tank.There is no scope for diversity or experimentation. Americans are good for infantry play and especially excel in 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 but weaker in larger modes. OKW weak in those modes,but excel in larger modes. Play soviets..easymode.Best way to rack up wins.Abuse sniperspam.maximspam,isu,late game call-ins..basically every type of cheese u can think abt..if ur in a mood to feel good abt urself.Game mode doesn't matter for soiviet..can handle anything and any opponent. Thread: German T49 Aug 2014, 15:37 PM As for brummbar..ostwind is far cheaper and with turret.Panzer 4s will get u AT and good AI.U can get 2 pz 4s instead of getting a brummbar. Brummbar can only be thought of if u have somehow decided to go t4,actually have the fuel and are being bullied by a blob.Though guards with instantly button it and go to its rear and then conscript oorah and at nade.So more specifically usa blob.Its good vs maxim spam though,can take more punishment than ost from zis and kills it faster..but can't flank them like ostwind. Thread: Balance Wehrmacht vs. US9 Aug 2014, 15:30 PM Its mainly the halftrack...rifles only can be handled despite their superdamage..but add the aa halftrack along with MP losses to teching and him getting free lieutenant..its great early game disadvantage.Either rifles long range DPs needs a small nerf to give grens a better chance early on..or falk truck/m20 by making early us teching a bit costlier, needs to be delayed. And easy eight needs maybe 10 fuel cost increase . Thats it.I'm in favor of 2 lmg 1919s as that gives us infantry its lategame edge,though the suppression is lame. USA at gun however needs a buff. Tiger equals is-2. T-34/85s beat both overpriced panther and pz 4. isu way way better than extinct elefant. Add to that shermans. Add to that kv-1s,kv-2s,su-85s and dirt cheap t-34s which have near same performance as 125 fuel pz 4. This armor dominance is myth.Only OKW posseses on paper better quality armor with KT and jagd...but they can never spam them like Sov. Ost has no armor dominance over soviet.Soviets have the most versatile lategame armor.Cheese beginning with maximspam or sniperspam..shocks...lategame callins. Soviets are the strongest faction by far all game modes taken into consideration. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: ISU and Elefant8 Aug 2014, 12:54 PM Elefant does NOTHING right now with 70 range,it'll get 1 shot or 2 before enemy closes in at guns begin creep.Then ur done.The imp fact of its range was it could fire multiple times before enemy closed distance with its reload and 70 range...good luck.Add to that no turret and near immobile speed forget kiting . U brought up armor..let me ask u what about its speed? What about its turret.Lack of turret is BIGGEST disadvantage ever.A single bazooka squad can kill elefant given time.Zis alone can do it.Compare that to isu.And don't say u have to cover it....because with 70 range and its speed it always has to get quite close.An AT gun with 60 range easily engage 70 range elefant.Elefant doesn't have speed to retreat properly. ISu its perfectly legit to wipe out at guns and shreck squads but elfant..oh no. If one goes..other has to go. In: Lobby
