Only thing I'd do is reduce reinforcement cost, cons shouldn't be the heavy DPS unit like double BAR rifles or STG volks.
I like this idea.
There are some other changes that'd be good though, like faster molotovs or molotov/nade package.

First things first:
- T3 & T4 needs to be more accessible
By more accessible I do not mean "skipping T3 should be made easier than ever". No. I mean shifting costs around so that you can start your build with either T3 or T4. However, at no point should you feel "stuck" or "married" to either tier. You should be allowed to combine tiers
If you really believe this, you'd be content to sum the costs of T3 and T4, divide by 2, then apply the resulting price to both T3 and T4.
If not, then your statement is flawed. |
I'm not sure that these are serious issues. I agree that the Soviets need some kind of love but I haven't worked out exactly the best way to do that yet. Probably starting with Conscripts would be good.

Note we are adjusting the ability as well as the Maxim itself in terms of suppression so you can't nade it.
Currently, the numbers on the ability are being adjusted and nothing is in place but here's some stuff I've been playing to make the ability more useable:
Sustained Fire
-Reload Penalty from 2 to 1.25 during duration.
-Weapon cooldown to 0.5 during the duration.
-Weapon horizontal traverse increased by 1.25 during the ability.
Likely needs more adjustments to somehow put in on par with AP rounds, though that sets the bar very high considering 42 AP rounds increased damage by nearly double and gives you armour penetration. Maybe an accuracy increase to further the role of "Get the hell out of my arc"?
Please just make the ability responsive, can't we ask that much at least when playing a game? |

Actually, veto function needs to be removed from the game. It's currently being abused by teams of players that want to get the exact map they need for their strong combination of faction and commander to best succeed. |
That new maxim ability is so slow...
10 seconds to charge up and then 20 seconds of hosing, best used against a single target?? what target is gonna stick around for 30 seconds?
Laying the trap 10 seconds in advance of enemy being there is ok I guess, but not what I'd call reliable. And you've wasted 20 muni and 30 seconds if the guy changes direction.
This ability should be free, the way it is now.
For 20 munis, you should be able to move the maxim while the ability is active.

Apologies for an overly aggressive response but the general consensus of players who play ALL the factions is that axis lose out in team games specifically because of weaker artillery/indirect fire and worse 'emplacements'. Axis also tend to have smaller squads meaning indirect fire wipes them faster. (I'll leave tanks out of this one).
As well you should; Axis tanks are definitely much more powerful than Allied ones (the UKF being an exception, along with some heavies / call ins). But don't lump the Katyusha in with the Calliope, they aren't on the same level. And the Stuka isn't on the same level as the Katy either (the Stuka being stronger). And the land mattress is rather obscene, yes; but the UKF is obscene in many ways.
Anyway my point is, try not to generalise. Certain units get spammed and seem unbalanced; this doesn't mean that Axis factions 'lose out' in team games. |
