Maybe some small adjustments would help them a lot:
- Reduce the set up time of the HMG42: this would help a lot to not lose this unit so easily and leaving buildings faster in case of granades.
- Reduce the upgrade time of Battle Phases and Buildings.
- Increase the penetration of the STUG just a little. OST is the only faction that does not have an AT dedicated vehicle to deal with the heavy ones, especially the ISU-152, IS2, KV2, KV1 and Churchills. Currently the STUG has less penetration than the SU76 if I am not mistaken.
- Increase in some way the survival of the Grens. Or reduce its price.

I think we all agree that OST is in a delicate position and it´s the harder faction to play and win.
Maybe some small adjustments would help them a lot:

Yes Ost is bad but buffing MG42 is the worst possible way to help them.

Ostheer has Panthers to deal with heavy allied tanks so no Stug doesn´t need more pen.

Ah, keep dreaming then. Its 240mp squad, cheapest mainline inf in game next to cons in an army that is supposed to rely on weapon teams.

No that big of a help but an interesting option that would also be viable for Pzgrens without having to acquire a Doctrine.
Nothing special or that strong about G43, it would most certainly be a fine addition.

I know, but Panther´s Range, ROF, DPS and Accuracy is not near similar to another allied AT vehicles, like SU85, Jackson or Firefly. Ost needs a good dedicated AT vehicle.

IMO the main problem with OST infantry is its Survivability, not its DPS, specially Grens and PGrens. Currently there are a lot of allied tanks and explotion like weapons that insta wipe 2 or 3 models.

That is true and I am quite well aware of that fact. It has been discussed about grens many times and many are not in favour of increasing their overall survivability. Which is quite frankly, unfortunate.
Maybe firepower is a compensation instead for the increased likelihood of losing grens. Maybe increase cost to 250 in the process.
There is no clear resolution regarding grens or their overall survivability. Wehr units are prone or most likely to lose their squads to explosives in contrast to other factions.
Maybe they should have a modifier which decreases the likelihood of them losing squads or damage reduction to explosives specifically. That sort I suppose would resolve the situation. Other than that, that is all I can think of thus far.

80*squad size/receive accuracy,even though ignore receive accuracy,Grenadier is lowest squad HP,in late game UKF infantry also has increase squad size
