i cant see how this kind of blob mode is ment to be playd in this game like this. i like the patch so far but this isnt somting that is fun

bleed how?! you can easily dominate the field when you don't have to retreat, and since 5 man upgrade makes healing free your MG/PaKs will always be ready to fight.
All you need a little more micro to move the HT around to reinforce your troops.
With HT you have transport+reinforce+healing all on the frontlines, insanely good.

Regaring OP, bring HMG and put it behind green cover.
not always but in the game 6 man doent get al 6 in cover. while you almost always have 4 in cover. also bring hmg in cover. ofcorse i do that but as the maxim doesnt supress right away like an mg42. it can do it after its long burst and only to 1 unit and not to a blob like mg 42 can. bringing more maxims wil cripple you by alot also

i do like them and i dont blob. and yes dubble brens is strong but its not for on the move like the grens+ g43 is so in my opinion a 5 man tommy with breng vs 5 man gren with g43 id recon the grens wins hands down in a cavuum. and more so in the real game

They’re still the most expensive mainline infantry per model to reinforce. It’s annoying to play against but very easy to punish pretty hard with explosives or suppression. Also, I’m pretty sure lmg42 grens have more dps than the 5 man g43 grens (but the latter is obviously more durable per squad).

Last time I checked, grens aren't crippled by being out of cover and cost signigicantly less.
Not that there is something wrong with 5 man grens, its a matter of adaptation(notice how there is whine about every singular new ability now, only commisar whine hasn't started, but its only a matter of days I bet).
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

comissar is pretty good and rewards players with good micro and situation awareness.
(so it's bound to get nerfed pretty soon
)

I tried all factions and i find grenadiers to be the squad with the largest reward-risk factor. they are strong, but so hard to use in the heat of battle.
