I can't believe this. In my personal experience The ML-20 scatter on long range is much worse than the LeFH one. I cant find scatter values on www.coh2-stats.com/
Do you have any source for this?

the only prupose of Counter Barrage is to remove the artillery threat in the battlefield, so you can focus on microing your tanks/troops. Like it or not is a useful thing

UKF can't really click a button for free and forget about it for the duration of the game.

And you do not need to invest fuel, munitions, pop, achieve vet 1 to have access to it while being your opponents being able to counter it with an off-map.

In addition it was a question direct to a specific user.

thats right! They dont even need to click one button! They build the emplacemnt (bofors/ mortar or 17pounder) and now this emplacment will work from now on its own!

You modded your game a little bit too heavily if your UKF mortars have 250 range and auto target all indirect units automatically.

Never said this.
But i know that this mortar and bofors mostly autodelete sqauds and light armor in range with no micro.
and even the 17pounder aim alone the targets..in 360 circle

maybe u enlight us with the right facts, when u say i said bs. What was wrong on this fact, i told here? need bofors and other brits emplacment any micro to kill units?

Yes I think counter fire for the UK needs to be swapped, although it is far less rewarding than the Axis version.

Or at least set them so they are the same so make the axis counter fire vet 0 but limited time munitions ability.

That is not enough to make them same...LeFH has cost to build and pop, it is distractable and comes much later in CP.

Yes I'm am against all forms of button clicking arti countering. Its a braindead ability that requires no micro, something that shouldn't be in the game.

My 2 cents:
No one particularly enjoys the artillery meta really but it's there because it takes a conscious effort and coordination to counter, basically just make sure you're the one that can blow them up (take IL2 bombing run, time on target, air supremacy, railway etc) and it becomes much less of an issue.

As soon as you see one fire, destroy it as soon as possible using recon and a call in and it will probably deter them from building another one.

If you don't like artillery meta, blob less and stay mobile, it makes artillery far less effective against you and chances are will force them to pick a different doctrine to deal with you so you won't have to deal with artillery in the first place.


I think the thing with win button counters is that although annoying, they're kind of essential, good players will cover their flanks and mine everywhere meaning attacking enemy artillery can cost you more than it's worth. Most of them are expensive call ins anyway and they still require LoS.

The REAL joke is you if you truly believe that. U can minimum range EVERY barrage due to the excellent health of the calilope unlike the other rocket arty trucks which are all one shotted.

Good way to risk your 140 Fuel investment to any ATG present in the area, I'd rather use the Priest, whose vet1 is one of my favorite things of USF.

LMAO the delusion is once again strong here with the axis fanboys.

Just a small reminder the LEFH is not only very precise and shoots various salvos, it can also shoot IN your base, while the ML20 although inaccuraten CANNOT SHOOT in the enemy's base...

but the ML20 and B4 are op so they needed a nerf.


It has been like this since the day this game came out, axis artillery could always shoot directly into the base, sometimes wiping out all the untis that just retreated, but allies...allied artillery could not.


But the game is totally not unbalanced towards axis dominance...

Dude, one barrage from a calilope is accurate as werfer. Min range werfer is lethal, hence min range calilope is also lethal but there are far more rockets. Whatever at gun that was there will be wiped guaranteed. Even if the at gun was able to get off a shot, your calilope can eat FOUR shots unlike a werfer.
