Game running only in DirectX 9 not 11

Hello,
i have a little problem. The game is running only in DirectX 9 and not in 11. I really don't know why. Every other game is running fine with Direct 11. I also found no option to switch it.
Have someone the same problem and maybe a solution?

As far as i know CoH2 doesnt even support DirektX 9, so it must be 10 or 11. In CoH1 you would choose a highest DirektX version by choosing graphics settings "Ultra", maybe that still applies for CoH2?

try changing change 9 to 11 and save the file. i dont remember exactly anymore, if that only changes the rendering in Worldbuilder or also in the actual game.

This is interesting, I decided to go check my .ini file, and mine also states DirectX9 rendering device, although I have not seen any problem with the graphics in game. Sorban would you mind posting a screen shot of what your game actually looks like? Just curious about it. - I'm fairly sure my game is running under DirectX11 even though it states DirectX9 in the .ini file.

@OP: Have you disabled post processing? Or tried changing anything else in your configuration_system.lua (Documents\My Games\CoH2)?
Post processing is often activated for whatever reason, try deactivating it in the file and then copy-protecting the file.

Why would he disable post processing? Is post processing tied to DX11 for some reason? I know i was unable to see any visual or performance difference when attempting to change it to DX9, DX10, or DX10.1 in the ini.

I doubt it's used. You can try running MSI Afterburner with the overlay it will tell you whether the game is running in DX9, DX10 or DX11. I'm fairly certain there is no DX9 in this game, only DX10 and DX11 depending on your OS and your graphics card.

If anybody knows of a way to force dx10 that'd be great information considering the game is barely playable for me during blizzards, even using 66% gameplay res. I'll reinstall afterburner, though i thought the overlay caused coh2 to crash?

I have been using it since the beta and haven't had a single crash.
