T70 and KV8, too effective vs infantry. The ostwind does realitly well, but nothing compared to these units.
I dont care what buffs the soviets recieve, i jst want to see these units nerfed.
Nerf this shit already!

Its funny how they nerfed ostwind in the recent patch .... while t70 and kv8 just insta kills squads.
Ostwind and unvetted FHT takes ages to force the 6 men rusky squads to retreat.

The Ostwind hasn't been changed recently. If anything, it received a buff via the changes to AT nades. Try harder.
The KV-8 is obviously silly. The T-70 is OK, albeit a bit too good at dodging PAK shots.

Ostwind got the scatter nerf .... and as for AT grens they still damage my engine 100% of the time I had one thrown on my ostwind.

If a unit can kill a whole squad when they are only able to take one shot at it, it is OP. No argument there.
Either nerf the KV8 range, damage, or buff the pgren's range.

Mortars rely on accuracy (and are an inherent, but balanced, RNG factor) , and no Sniper can one-shot an entire unit.
These are not valid justifications for KV8s Campaign level stats, nor do they discount Dmeets point on KV8s.

Just get a Panzer IV. How hard can it be to play Germans right now? I've got a ~10 win streak with them since last patch, half of which games I played drunk.

I think flame units like the KV8 still need work. There needs to be some drastic reduction of flame efficacy against retreating units, since losing retreating squads to FHTs/KV8s/flamers in clown cars is pretty lame. Apparently the normal accuracy reduction during retreat does not apply to flame attacks, which should really be addressed.
However, I think the T70 is fine at this point. If you wanted the Pak40 to hit it more, its hit size would need to be increased - but it's already as big as the stug.
That said, I really do think AT guns are not as good as they need to be - certainly not as good as they were in vCOH. I really think a price and population size reduction is in order for both of them - something like 280 or 300 mp and 6 population. I would also favour a penetration increase, because honestly shouldn't AT guns be the best option for fighting tanks head on?

Why did we need a new topic for a tank who loses half-life & 100% engine damage to a panzerfaust, two shotted by a p4, two shotted by an ostwind, 2 shotted by a stug, 2 shotted by pgrens-shrecks and 2 (4 cause it dodges) shotted by a pak? (TO NAME A FEW)
Why did we need a new topic for a 4CP, unrealiable (for the time you need the tank vs. CP exp), SUPER NICHE, tank that costs 135 fuel?
IMO, T70 is the only 'sure thing' russians have against early mg42s & early pgrens.

Yeah I don't think the T-70 needs a nerf, I think the Pak needs a accuracy buff maybe but yeah you can roll out a PIV a few minutes after a T-70 it will take care of your T-70 problem.
KV-8 is op imo.

Pak40 is shit, I can't count how many times I try choosing not T3 (aka Pz4spam) and use Pak40 & Panzerscreck & Panzerfaust like COH1, and losing my game because of their uselessness
Along with having no cheap piosquad and good mines, sigh

I wanted to defend the PaK, saying it's good except vs, and then I relalized I was about to list all soviet vehicles...
Shrecks are only good for being stolen by the Soviets and getting used against your Panzer IVs as far as I can tell.
T-70 needs to die more easily to PaK and KV-8 to Panzers imo.
