Any road that people typically walk down.

If you want specific places to put mines you can also load up a map vs. an easy CPU and closely watch the paths your own units take.
Fences (walked around), deep snow (avoided), roads (prioritized), even trees (see Minsk) can heavily influence the path units take. Planting mines and tripwire flares where the enemy doesn't expect them can be more effective than planting them where your enemy suspects/expects them even though the maximum damage done (see that M8 mine video) can be smaller (except when catching a vehicle and he doesn't have pios nearby).

Now that the MG42 is taking more damage (as it should) I really miss the german mine to protect the flanks :(

Around edges of walls, like the end of a bridge or a fence. units tend to group up there.

If you got the munitions, build S minefield, if you place first square correctly and abort when its done, you get 60 muni refund and mines placed. They wont kill the whole squad, but will make the flank somewhat harder.

01 Apr 2025, 02:36 AM
Willy Pete: @Rosbone Ahh I missed that memo. I still think its a bad decision though. Adds frustration for players and isnt gonna make them that much money

Rosbone: It is also good they left it free until after the free to play weekend. Points for that.
27 Mar 2025, 09:34 AM
Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.
27 Mar 2025, 09:32 AM
Rosbone: To be fair, it was a thank you to early fans right? They said it was not free for long and it would become a pay DLC at some point.
