Since the price of the double Panzerschreck of the Panzergrens of the Ostheer got set down to 100 ammo I think it only seems fair if the Panzerschreck of the SP gets a cost of 50 ammo.
So why exactly does the Panzerschreck of the Sturmpioneers cost 70 ammo ?

It used to belong to the Volksgrenadier at 90 munitions. It got moved to the Sturmpioneer, then it got discounted a bit.

I think reducing it to 50 or 60 munitions would be a fairly harmless buff. It’s not easily spammed like Volks Shreks were, so a cost reduction isn’t completely crazy.

Shrek does 50% more damage than bazooka, costs 40% more. Seems like a fair deal to me

Of course, bazookas can fire in a timely manner, hit their target, and be doubled up. Such phenomenons I have not witnessed on the sturm schreks :p

For me big issue is that when i get shreck i don't have a sweepers on my sturmpios. As we all know mines win games. Plus squad itself isn't really cheap so this makes upgrade rarely used (mostly vs USF).

Iirc Shreks are more accurate than zooks. Also when's the last time you saw a Shrek bounce?

OKW is powerful enough as it is, I don't think any buffs are necessary.

Shreks have an accuracy of 0.069/0.052/0.028
Bazookas have: 0.063/0.048/0.034

Also Rear Echelons get a 20% accuracy boost at vet 1, Sturmpios get a 20% boost at vet 4, which makes bazookas be perceived as more accurate.

OT I think the 90 muni cost is fine, but the only thing that is imbalanced is that RE and royal engineers can still get sweepers and AT while Sturmpios cannot, despite being more costly.

To avoid being overpowered against light vehicles in the early game, the sturm schrek was given poor far accuracy, as I recall. Unfortunately, light vehicles are the only reason I would ever build one.

Every time you tell them to shoot they do some sort of dance (a squad AI bug maybe?). By the time they're ready, the vehicle is out of range or it's running into the squad so they can't do anything. And at one shreck per 300MP 4-man squad, they're useless against real armour since schreks do far less damage than AT guns. Who is ever going to build more than two of these squads? Anti-inf loss aside, if you do engage, the time it takes to actually threaten a tank means you can easily lose a large amount manpower. There's a reason Pgrens get two of them.

By comparison, bazookas shoot almost as soon as you tell them to and can be equipped twice on every unit in your army. That means that even with bounces, they do real and relatively consistent damage. At the very least,a few zooks will make a medium tank back up.

Double schreks or just some new tank hunter squad would go a long way in my opinion.

I think that if aim time was adjusted an increased accuracy value would be nice. It's pond trash when they miss but also garbage when they snap shot from buildings and what not. This would of course push them to a more defensive role but really I think that's a better place for them...
Sturms could have the quicker aim time just because of the higher risk and capped reward because of bleed and a single Shrek.

Also was the accuracy nerfed? I recall haveing a discussion a bit back with @vipper that had the Shrek slightly more accurate?

Accuracy was not nerfed recently.

It was nerfed ages ago, because shrecks were OP against light vehicles and could alpha strike them all the time.
