Seems to be the case certain late game big boys are basically unicorns are vet 3 (vanilla churchill, elefant, JT,AVRE, IS-2 and tiger). Some of these I've only seen in the closing stages of a 4vs4s handful of times each in maybe 800+ games in all modes.
Not calling for a massive vet buff here, but say 20% increase could make the game a bit more fun when these late veterancy tiers are actually achievable in your avaerage 40 minute game. It's no secret many of these tanks (KT, Vanilla Churchill, IS-2) have been regarded as a bit UP for a while compared to spamming mediums.
Should lategame tanks vet a bit faster?

I regularly get churchhills to vet 3 in 2v2's. Once it hits vet 2 it really becomes a monster. From the other tanks you listed though I agree it is pretty rare to see them get vet but perhaps its because they just aren't very common to build in the first place (is2 and tiger are pretty rare).

It doesn't help either that some of the units first level of vet is super meh. Is-2 cap territory, Sturm tiger grenade thing, elefant TWP, kv2 cap territory, Churchill crew guns... All kinda meh really making it seem even longer before they get meaningful vet

experience requirement is a direct calculation on the unit cost.
more expensive the unit, the harder it is to level it up.
Since veterancy bonus are usually a percentage bonus, veterancy on stronger unit is more powerful hence the higher requirement.

Its the same as panther and KV-1.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

It is more or less the same because in 90% of cases you fight vs a tank´s frontal armor. Churchill is not UP, it´s balanced. It still doesn´t have impressive armor but that´s ok because it has decent firepower and HP.

church is such a big enemy for the german units because of its high armor..AND low pene from much german units. when im not wrong jgpz4 has lower pen than FF or Jackson. schrecks have not that that dflection dmg from allie zooks, piats and ptrs...
only pak40 has good pene to deal with the church..to bad that the church have huge HP and even 2 paks cannont fear a church...it drives to them and wipe them alone.

I suggest you read and understand before replaying. I never claimed there is a side armor and I did not provide a side armor value, I wrote front/side and rear/side and provided 2 values which means the front half of the vehicle and rear half of the vehicle.
Now, do you actually have anything remotely relative to the topic of thread which is vet speed?
