With 3 differents allies factions, german are still the favorites, at least in my game mode, 2v2.

I think that in most WW2 games most ppl want to play the evil Nazis. Not sure why. In COH2 a big reason is probably the fact that the Germans have all the famous tanks. Tigers, Panthers, Kingtiger, etc.
Germans are also easier to play with in team-games. Less skill required to win some games. Try playing Soviets in 3on3/4on4 and you will realize how hard it actually is.
In 1on1 matchmaking is usually more balanced by the way. Team-games attract the more casual types of players.

i think its the German units and tanks are just alot more cooler then the allied units. its not just coh2 thats like this all other ww2 games i played people always tend to prefer the axis then the allies

Only way to play USF in those game modes is to go mass bazookas and calliopes, Priest will not cut it on such modes, I would even say with the nerfs even Brits might have a hard time vs 4 OKW players.

Soviet 4v4 meta is penals dhsk SU76/SU85 and katty land. That or hordes of t34s.

I feel that the soviet tanks are underwhelming in 4v4, it may be that I'm pretty bad with soviets.
USF 4v4 is something we dont speak of.

First of all i'm not sure if your premise is true, you don't give any numbers to prove your claim. You just feel that "so many people play german" but I will answer anyway.
By germans you mean OKW, not a lot of people play WM because it's harder to win with them. Most people play OKW these days because people think it's easy to win. Most people play to win as they main motivator.

before WBP hit more people still played more axis from what i remember, most allied players where infact brit players. im not saying balance might be a reason why but from my experience of playing dozens ww2 multiplayer games people always tend to pick axis over allies, take ur deluded allied fanboyism elsewhere

Unique faction play maybe but imo it´s definitly harder to play USF/Soviets than Axis(especially OKW) in 3on3 and 4on4. Raketen-stealth blobs to take out enemy tanks + double Stuka + King/Jagdtiger... It´s just super OP. Compare that to what you get as Soviets...

Yeah. Penal+Dshk in 3on3 and 4on4 is not that good. You get outnumbered and swarmed so hard, it´s awful. No useable Mortar to counter MG spam either. M4C Sherman is not that good in big team games. Same as T34/76 which is super hard to use in 3on3 and 4on4.
ISU 152 and KV2 are basically useless or at the very least totally overpriced for what they offer. IS2 is meh. ISU 152 is particularly annoying to use since it misses everything once the terrain is a slight bit uneven. KV2 can be alright but costs the same as a fucking Tiger.

Funfact: Out of all of the automatch games played exactly 50% played as Allies and 50% as Axis.
The only reason COH2 is still around, is because it's preserved by salt.

Rosbone: Knowing how companies work, I imagine a new hire making the menus. The API they are using is complicated and things were hard to figure out. But at some point QA or management should have addressed these things. Usually within 6 months of starting.
