Why BO1 instead of BO3 ? Feels like BO3 is alot more balanced than BO1, since BO3 = play both factions

We play BO1's because of time issues. We introduced them to COH with SNF S4 and imo they were real nailbiters as it's in all or nothing match.

We will have plenty of time to bo3 or even bo7 in the future. This Tourney is more likely a map exhibit to keep the things running and bring fast feedbacks.

Afaik it isn't supposed to be private. Anyone can find that steam username.
If you reall don't want to post your steam username in public, then send me a PM on COH2.ORG and I'll make sure you get signed-up.

I'm working on a set of rules. But I can already tell you that intel bulletins won't be allowed.
How will I know if I can participate in the tourney? I already put my info in the forum thread.
We'lll provide a list of all sign-ups after they have been closed on Friday. Just make sure to check-in (as described in the newspost) on tournament day. Even if you're on the waitinglist, because there will always be a number of people that don't show up and then we'll replace them with players from the waitinglist that have checked in.

It's the name you use to log-in to your steam account.

This issue is that those names could be swapped around by different players during the tournament. That's why we're asking for both.

No worries, it is a usual bracket with 64 players in round1, 32 players in round2, etc.
The BO1 and BO3 are targeting the mode for the individual matchup between two players. In a Best of 3 each player gets to play each faction once and in case of a draw they play a third game. In a Best of 1 there is only 1 game played to decide the winner.
